Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.
I weighed in on 7/22/05. My weight then was 168 lbs. I am 29 years old, 5'2" and would like to reach my goal of 135 Lbs by my 30th birthday in November. For the longest time I was small, but within the past 5-6 years I have had problems with my weight. However one day I took a serious look at myself and realized that with my family history I needed to do something fast. My mother and grandmother are both
diabetics and have HTN. Friday I told myself enough was enough. I know that weight loss is not momentary, but a lifestyle, and I am ready to change my life one day at a time.
Last week, I thought I was doing OK, and I gained a pound. This week, I was sabatoged by 2 birthday dinners, the county fair, and a family dinner, all incorporating fried food at some point, and several of my husband's sweet and salty snacks which I'd been sneaking, AND I missed 3 days of exercise, yet I lost a pound. What gives?!
I'm 148.6 this morning, down 1.6 pounds from last week.
By the way, last week I was up by that much for no apparent reason (wasn't TOM, I was on plan, etc.) so I am really breaking even according to the scale. I counted last week as a success too, though, since it was a week well lived despite the scale sticking it's tongue out at me!
well i lose 2 lbs i was 232 last week. i weigh myself every saturday morning after my exercise so yesterday i was down 2lbs but i measure my waist and it was up 3 inches so im confused......lol now im 230.
