This is me now:

and this is me at my goal weight last year...

I went on depakote and it made me gain it all back but I'm off now and starting dieting and excersizing and plan to get back there. I know It's still what most would consider fat, but I am comfortable at that weight, maybe 10 lbs thinner because I'd like to be 'overweight' as opposed to 'obese'...but that is all, I like my curves and feel comfortable around 180-190

I'm putting this here as motivation to get back down there... wish me luck!

You look beautiful! And I just LOVE your hair! So cute.

There is no certain weight that I think people should reach...I think it's anything that make the person feel better and healthier. And if you're comfortable reaching to the weight you were at before...then by all means, good for you.

Good Luck!!

GREAT photos! Thanks for sharing and you look great! Sending you good vibes and much luck on your journey. :goodvibes: :lucky: Like Dr. Phil says...we have to find 'our' comfortable weight. What we feel good at and not necessarily what others think we should be at or what the tables say we should be at.

exactly... :)

I agree, you look gorgeous in both pics. Love the dress.

Oh yeah, the French have a term "bein dans sa peau" to be comfortable in one's skin. Kind of like the Dr. Phil thing. It is so important to be the one to decide what is best for ourselves and not buy into what others think is good for us. It's a much healthier and empowering way to go about things.

I´ve got to agree with the other ladies...you look stunning in both those photos!!!

I know exactly what you mean about settling on the right weight for you. According to all those charts and Dr´s graphs, my goal weight should be approx 125lbs. However, I´ve been there before and hated it, besides the fact that I just looked ill!!! I´ve grown to like my curves over the years and, although I´d like them to be a lot smaller (lol!!) I don´t want them to disappear altogether. I´ve decided on a goal weight of 160lbs. I can´t imagine that I´d want to be any smaller!

Anyway, good luck!! I´m sure you´ll be back to how you want to be in no time at all!!
