I reached my October goal of 210 pounds.. I started my weight loss journey on 9/7/04 at 218 pounds. I've jumped back and forth the first month.. now i'm on track.. heading DOWN the weight loss scale!! I'd appreaciate any comments or suggestions anyone has to offer.

Take before pictures and measurements and when you feel like freaking out and giving up refer back to them. Seeing the progress you've made is great motivation. Don't even keep "bad" stuff in the house so you won't be tempted by it and drink lots of water. It helps keep you feeling full. Just remember it takes time and don't give up. Seriously, that's what always stopped me before. I'd think about how long it was gonna take and give up. The thing is that time goes by so fast that if you just stick with it you're gonna see a huge change before you know it. You're doing great!
