80 pounds down!!!
I am officially 80 pounds down today! I still have a ways to go but I am finally getting there :D
I never thought I would see this day with my pcos and hypothyroidism but with the lord's help I feel so blessed. I was getting severe health problems and with my weight loss my arthritis, asthma, and hypertension are sooo much better:D My next goal is 40 pounds away (to get under 200) then the next one is to get below dh's weight 180. I cant wait for these months to pass by and feel so good about myself this summer! |
Congratulations!!!! That is awesome!

Way to go Autumn!!!:bravo: What a great accomplishment! I know you must be so pleased to see how well you've done. I'm at the 18 lb. mark myself and have quite a ways to go but I know I'll make it with the support here at 3FC.

Autumn,
That is fabulous!!! I too have PCOS and am wondering how you are doing it. I have a plan that is working well for me right now, but could always use extra advice -- especially from those much further along! Peace |
:bravo: Autumn, your doing great!!!
Congratulations!! I can appreciate how hard it is for you....I too have PCOS and have struggled. But you did it!!! WTG! |
What is PCOS???
Thanks Sue |
Thanks Ladies so much for the suppourt:D I'm just following the old fashioned low fat low calorie diet. I'm on glucophage to keep my insulin down so its like a normal person's:p If I can do this you can too!:D
Sue- Its called polycystic ovarian syndrome. Its a disease that makes it very hard to lose weight with high insulin that needs to be treated with medicine also a bunch of other things go with it. I also have hypothyroidism too which makes my metabolism not up to par either. I have to exercise quite a bit more than the average person but its worth it and it will make my heart healthy. I do aerobic activity for about an hour and a half daily. BTW- its 88 pounds lost now:D |
That is fantastic!! Good for you!
|
Way To Go - YOu are a Great Inspiration!!!!
|
Thanks so much:D

Autumn,
Thanks for sharing your succes. I have been diagnosed with hypothryoidism and I have about as much total weight to lose as you do and I've been worried it will be almost impossible with a slow working metabolism! What is your exercise routine? |
Hi Kmg
It is possible but it is tougher. I walk briskly for about an hour and a half every day. I started out a year ago just maybe doing 20 minutes and eventually worked my way up. Good Luck, it takes time but you will get there. |
Wow that is awesome, the lord truly is faithful and i'm beliveing him to help me too! I understand what you mean about the pcos! You've been a little inspiration to me today
thank you!! |
Hi I have pcos too and just wandered what plan you are on? i'm trying to devise my own because i havent had much success with others. Have you had success with yours?
|
I am so proud of you!! You're such an inspiration :) Congratulations on your success and good luck with your next goal!
