Smile Body Fat Percentage drop

Hey guys I just had to share my good news with everyone, because I am way too excited to keep quiet about it.
I've been trying my best since late July/early August of last year to exercise, eat healthy, lose weight and just in general enjoy life more. It's slow, hard work and the major milestones are few and far between, but I've just reached one, and I think that it's just the boost I've been needing. When I started out besides weighing 264 pounds, my Body Fat Percentage was 49.9% ( ). I was half fat! Yikes. Well as of Monday, my Body Fat Percentage was 39.6% Sure, that's still considered obese, and I have got a long way to go before it's a number that I'll be comfortable with, but right now, today, that's not really the point ... I'm thrilled that it's under 40%, thrilled that the weight I've lost is fat not muscle, and that I am in fact slowly, but surely building new muscle, and I'm thrilled that the hard work is having results, and If I can get it under 40% the day will come when it's under 30% - it's just a matter of time and hard work ... thanks for listening! Grace

Congratulations, Grace!!!

And you are so right to concentrate on slow and steady fat loss rather than just weight loss-- that's the high road to permanent success! It might take longer, but the rewards are truly worth it. Good for you!

Wow, How exciting. That is a huge success. Thank you so much for sharing it and inspiring me to keep working no matter the speed.

You really must be feeling a lot of changes in your body with that weight loss. And your health must have really improved.

Congratulations again. Good luck on the rest of it. Obviously you have what it takes to reach your goals.
