Default I bought jeans!!

I've lost 21 pounds now and yesterday I bought my first ever pair of jeans from Old Navy. And they're not even the biggest size they carry! When I can shop comfortably at Gap, I'l know I have truely made it. The feeling is definately worth the work and struggle. I want to encourage everyone out there, whatever your goals are, YOU can do it!! Now, if this last 40 pounds would listen to my pep talks and bugger off, I'd be doing good. Have a great OP day all.

That's great! Good job. I know you feel great. The remaining weight will come off just as eay for you. Just keep your head high and remember that it did not come on overnight, it won't go that way either. You already have a wonderful attitude.

Woo! Hoo!
Thats great Serina.

Nothing like buttoning up a pair of jeans without having to lay on the bed to do it.

I have jeans that I can't wait to get in to. I can sqeeze in a few pair, but I can't breathe very well. lol

Keep it up, your goal is not very far away..........

Congratulations!!!! Isn't it just the greatest feeling in the world. I remember going to the mall to try and find jeans....then ending up in my car with tears in my eyes because I couldn't find any. It took a year but I lost 47 lbs and was just so excited to finally buy a pair.......actually I bought four pairs!!!! The best part is that now they are too big. I was so excited when I bought a pair of size 6 khaki jeans at Eddie Bauer that I bought the sales girl lunch!!! Me, I went for a walk....gotta stay in those pants forever!!!! Keep up the good work....the gap is waiting for you.

Hurray for you sweety! I have lost 70 lbs since Jan 6 and am finding all kinds of stuff that is practically new in my closet to wear. It is so much fun isn't it. I do have a brand new never worn pair of jeans that still are too small, but one of these days I will get into them too! I still have 180 lbs to lose, but I am determined to get it off and improve my life for good!

Hi Donna

I know what you mean about all the "too small" clothes in the closet! I have a bunch of those too... but I also have a bunch of my "fat clothes" on eBay, yay! One thing that always feels nice is when I decide to get some of the too small ones out and try them on and they are TOO BIG!! I wouldn't mind that happening right now, in fact.

Hi Robin

Congratulations on your new jeans too! I'm not there yet... can't imagine fitting into a pair! But the pants I do have are getting very baggy in the butt -- and my sweatpants are about to fall off. So for now I will settle for that.
