Ignore this if you're already seen it--I accidentally posted in the wrong forum.
Yesterday I got a compliment that wasn't meant to be one! I was browsing through a sale rack and the saleslady said, "Oh, those won't fit you--that's the plus size rack." She couldn't have known what that meant to a person who couldn't fit into a lot of the 3X's a year ago!
Also, we have a plus size consignment sale in this area twice yearly. When my daughter mentioned that I was volunteering at the sale, one of her coworkers asked her why--said "Your mom can't wear any of those clothes."
Actually, both of those ladies were mistaken--I'm in the "crossover range"--where some plus sizes fit and some regular. But I sure loved hearing that two people thought I was "regular" sized!
