Cottage~~ I feel the same way. We have done this before and we can do it again. Let's support each other this month on the water and exercise thing. WE CAN DO THIS:carrot:

Freaky~~so sorry to hear about your tooth.

Congrats to all who lost weight this month!!!!

Me~~Yesterday was my birthday and I was sick :( I spent the afternoon in bed and didn't go out for dinner. DH brought me home a grilled chicken salad and a small DQ Blizzard (yes, I ate it and my excuse was that it made my throat feel better:devil: ). I feel alittle better today and if my head doesn't explode, I plan on getting some exercise on the elliptical.

Have a great day and I'll check back in later.

Good morning ladies... reading these so late that unfortunately I don't have time to respond to everyone... made delicious soup last night with 1 pound of lean ground turkey, can of kidney beans, can of black beans, rotel and taco seasoning and it was delicious! Took like 10 mins and now I have leftovers yaaay! Doing better today than I was yesterday although still tired... it's my mom's birthday so we're celebrating with her tonight. We celebrated on Saturday as well but I ate all sorts of sweets so I'm going to have have to resist tonight.

Gonna kick butt in March I can already feel it!

Stephanie Osborne 02-28-2006 11:43 AM

Well ladies,
I had a bad weekend, it was a weekend without a plan...so I am not suprised. I need to work a lot harder on being OP and focused during the weekends...I am super excited for March, I am reevaluating my workout/water goals I think I have been expecting to much and then I am so down when I go not meet my goal. I think mini goals are the way to go for me. I have a ton of work to do this week, hopefully I can lose some of this gained back weight. Have a great day chickies!

freaky - I had that happen to me a while back, had to have a root canal and a cap - OUCH! (<---that is my checking account wincing in pain lol)

Demamacita,cottage - good morning :)

Marianna - keep working hard and you are right March is a new month...a fresh start

JanaM - I hear what your saying about hitting people over the head with your water bottle for volunteering *goodies*

kiko - I am a self sabotager too - trying to work through it, but I feel your pain.

Debbie - pizza happens, it is totally a convenience food, most of the time is it just there so we eat it, new day new start.

Ruth - I will send you some of my sunshine, it is going to be like 65 here today.

Meg - you always have such a positive attitude!

pear - I hear you about wanting to weekend already, isn't that bad? Good luck with your presentation.

Schatzi - I have my coffee at my side as well, have a good day, glad your feeling better.

cottage - at least you are using this as motivation...I think you can do it.

barb - You wanna know something funny? I always picture you being like the moms on desperate housewives, crazy busy yet social and perfect looking :) Have fun with your den meeting.

annarenee - CONGRATS chica!!! That is awesome, get that gym bag you deserve it!

Mscrockett - i am a picture junkie, I do not know if it is because of my profession or what but I could sit and look through them for hours. What movie were ya watching?

soon - I am so sorry you are sick hun, it seems to be going around, hope you get to feeling better. I was going to ask you about some AVON stuff, I will wait until you are up to it, let me know.

2befit - Birthday being sick, that sucks. Do some work on the eliptical for me eh? I have an appointment with it tonight and I would like to get a head start.

SunLit 02-28-2006 12:01 PM

Hey there all ... I'm just breezing by, because I'm wicked busy today (Deadlines, yuck). But I dragged my caboose out of bed at 6:10 a.m. to go to the gym early. I really like going in the morning, it's slightly less crowded and I have more time. If I get done with all my work early enough, I'll go back to the gym after work to do some more!

But -- I was in a rush and don't have much in the way of snacks or lunch today. I ate a cinnamon walnut whole wheat muffin for breakfast and RF cheese and whole wheat crackers for a snack. Instead of my usual salad -- I have only a sad little Weight Watcher low-carb meal for lunch. Definitely my least successful mid-week meal planning in a long time. :(

Have good days, everyone!

SarahinBalance 02-28-2006 12:47 PM

SunLit - I hear ya about the gym being less crowded, that's one of the things that I love the MOST about being there in the mornings is that I can actually find parking and that I don't have to wait on a machine... it is SO HARD getting motivated in the mornings to exercise (and get your body moving that early) but I think it's worth it... especially knowing that you have your exercise out of the way for the day

SunLit 02-28-2006 01:41 PM

Luckily, my gym is across the street from my office so I can just take an earlier train, go exercise and shower at the gym! No parking problems! And you're right, it's nice to done early and not have to stay out late.

I rarely have to wait to get an elliptical, even though my gym is relatively small. But the Nautilus equipment is NEVER available, with all the sweaty gents huffing and puffing all over them!

Debbie0522 02-28-2006 01:55 PM

Sunlit: My sister lives in Plymouth, MA - I get to visit her in May and we'll be spending a day in Boston!! I was there once about 4 years ago!

I think that was me, beam bum. I really, really love the red tea. I find that peppermint-y tea wakes me up just as well as caffeinated beverages.

To Debbie -- May's a great time for prowling Boston! And I find Plymouth to be beautiful in any season, but esp. in the spring. You'll have lots of fun, I'm sure!

batmomm2000 02-28-2006 02:47 PM

Sunlit as soon as I read "wicked" in your post I knew you were from MA!! I'm in VA now but born and bred in western MA, and I get ragged on with each and every wicked that escapes my lips...

Freaky-yikes sorry about the dental stuff. I've still got a baby tooth b/c my adult tooth is lodged somehwere up btw my nose and upper lip. You can see it in xrays. each appt they explain how they can go up through the roof of my mouth, slowly bring it down and push out the baby tooth. Or duh I could just wait until it hurts or the other falls out...yeah I think i'll go with the free painless option but thanks!

Ok March is just about here and darn it this weight will be gone. Today I am just focusing on eating every couple of hours. I need to up my calories so here goes.

I got a WICKED good deal on a bathing suit. I happened to be on gap.com and they were showing off all their new swimsuits. Well for some reason (maybe last year's color?), they had this cute halter tankini top in a light aqua color size Med for only $4.97 but all the other colors and sizes were $29.50 and the small bottoms in a darker blue for $6.99 when all other colors and sizes were $24.50. So for like $12 I got a really cute $54 suit! Best part is that when I suck in my gut, it really looks awesome so I will get there. My arms and shoulders have all of a sudden appeared too. Hmmm, never knew I had them, lol.

SarahinBalance 02-28-2006 03:01 PM

Sunlit - Yeah my gym is about 2 mins from my apartment so I am so incredible lucky that I can go home to shower, therefore I really have no excuses not to work out, period!

usmchoney 02-28-2006 03:10 PM

Good afternoon everybody. I can't believe it's already 3 and this is the first time that I've had to sit down at the computer. Today is flying. It's almost 70 degrees here. I had a lunchtime Mardi Gras party and except for a tiny slice of king cake, I was OP. My tight jeans are fitting more loosely than before my first daughter was born. It's a good day.
Tomorrow morning, I have an appointment at the vet for Orion and tomorrow afternoon I'm taking Keely to get her blood drawn. I'm giving the doctor until Thursday afternoon to get back to me and then I'm going to start calling.
