Having less junk foods in school IS great, but not everything can be fixed with sugar substitutes. I have to watch candy, gum, desserts, drinks, like a hawk to make sure I DON'T get any artificial sweeteners. I have severe IBS and that stuff make sme dry heave for about 4 hours and have diarrhea for a week. I even had to switch to an organic toothpaste because most of the toothpastes on the market use tons of artificial sweeteners. So is the school using artificial stuff, or are they actually doing fruit, honey, carob, things like that?
oops, I could just read the article...
