I am spending the morning with the man who is my best friend then off to my mom's for dessert and our white elephant gift exchange. Christmas has always been so depressing for me and this morning I woke up feeling very peaceful and happy. Praise God for the best gift of all, His precious love, and peace in my heart.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas or Hannukah. Mine was great. Dh surprised me with the new South Beach Cookbook and new T-Fal pots and pans. Now to get back on track after the past 2 days.

Hi everyone. I have been following South Beach since July and have done really well until now. My daughter had back surgery about 4 weeks ago and we have had tons of food at our home. I feel miserable with eating the sugar and bad carbs again. I know I need to get back on track and I am encouraged by all your efforts and help.

I hope each one of you have a blessed new year ahead and I hope that we all can meet our weight loss goals and enjoy a healthier new year.
