Default Arg Withdrawal!

Ok I'm on Day 1 of Phase one after Losing my towel
All I want to do is stuff my face I'm not hungry but I'm sitting here going oooh I'd love some bread or insert sinful stuff here and it's driving me BONKERS!
Not to mention
1 my Dr is putting me on a Pill to stop my non stop female fest that has gone on since July
this is my 3rd pill
2 I've been trying to get a new scooter style wheel chair for weeks and I finally filed the papers over a week ago to order it and they haven't been submitted yet!
Sorry for the Witchfest I'm choosing Venting over Snacking
DIVERT DIVERT!
I need to learn nonfood related ways to cope with stress!

Kierie, good for you on posting instead of eating!

When I was in P1 the first time, I found flavored herbal teas, SF gum, and SF hard candies indispensable. They really helped me through!

Try these non-food coping activities:
  • Go for a walk (or in your case, a scoot?)
  • Write in a journal (we have great ones here at 3FC, and people write comments back to you!
  • Throw pillows, punch pillows, scream into pillows...
  • Do a craft project or any other hobby that requires you to use your hands.
  • Do some exercise
  • Call a friend
  • Post here!

Hey Ladies
Thanks for the input!
I ended up going for a walk yesterday (I walk and scoot) to get away from a coworkers good smelling rice.
I think I'm going to get some yarn and knit while I'm here at lunch b/c you can't knit with sticky fingers!

KO, great idea! You'll stay away from the non-OP food *and* have Christmas gifts made, too! Good for you!
