Hi all I am new to this board. I have been reading around a bit and you all are doing so well!! I even found the little ticker weight loss bar and I love it. Ok I guess a bit about me. I have been large most of my life. I havent really tried any diet untill Jan. of 2003. That was over two years ago. Then I just started with watching what I eat and that worked well for me. Then in Aug. of this year 2005 I started on the South Beach diet. I must say that first two weeks seemed very long! I wasnt much of a salad person or veggies either. But I made my way through it and lost a few. Now I am on phase two. My husband also started this in Aug. with me and has been a real trooper too! So thats most of my story and I have gotten to this point and now I need to add in the exerecise! I have Arthritus and a degenerative disk or two in my back so I have to take it slow. Any one have any suggestion?

Glad to see you have done so well so far! Talk to your doctor and see what they recommend as far as exercise goes. Some is always better than none.
The recipes here are awesome. Just wrote down the ingredients for 2 of the soups.
