Default Hello, New here

But not to beach, I'm back on it after a miserable failure last month, I could really use some menu help though,.

I would adore it, if some of you could post your menus for me.

I'm having a problem because I don't eat tomatoes, seafood, or veggie juice.

Any ideas?

Thanks in Advance, I need all the help I can get.

I'm new to the beach.... This is my first week on the diet - And, I'm LOVING IT... I got the best recipes off the board... My favorite is the Chocolate Milkshake ( I have it most evenings).

I make eggs for breakfast - I use the EggBeaters Southwestern Style with a little Lite Cheddar and Fake Sausage (morning star)

Lunch is either Veggie Soup or Chicken and a salad

Snacks are Light Cheese and Deli Meat or Celery and Laughing Cow Spread

I made the Taco Bake one night for dinner and my husband scarfed it down... We also do a lot of baked fish and chicken/veggies

the other cool recipes I've tried are the "Sauteed Radishes" (really tastes like hash browns) and the roasted chick peas

Good Luck with your menus....

- Penny

Hey, Nonster! Welcome back!

I'll start a thread for people to post their menus. Keep in mind, though that each person's version of Phase 2 is different depending on what their body can have.

Also, there is no need for you to follow the menus posted in the book. They are just suggestions and you can feel free to modify them at will. You just need to use the "Foods to Avoid" and "Foods to Enjoy" lists to help you choose...be sure to check the updated info for P1 and P2 in the FAQ. You'll also find a huge thread with suggestions for breakfast food in the FAQ as well.

Hope this helps. Welcome back, Nonster, and enjoy the Beach!

Welcome back. Lots of us are starting phase I this week so be sure to join the thread. Somewhere there is a Day Phase I menu plan. I'll see if I can find it and post it in the FAQ Stickies. It's a table in WORD so I need to diddle around with it as I can't just post tables in here.

Thanks so much everyone!

Is comforting to know I'm not alone on the beach

I have decided on Monday as my official restar day, Its easier for me to keep with it, when Hubbie is at work and my oldest is in school

Hello nonster - welcome to the Beach! There are some good recipes in the recipe forum - have you looked there? We have special dietary considerations, too, so I sympathize! We (esp DH) don't eat pork or shellfish, and I can't eat green bell peppers. The bell pepper's not a big deal in cooking, as I can replace it with red or yellow or any ripe bell pepper. The shellfish and pork can be difficult though!

Good luck!

Hey Nonster, welcome back!

I started today too! There's gobs of other choices on the foods to enjoy list, so I'm sure you'll find replacements for those that you don't like or can't eat.
