Hi all! Ruth said that anyone could start this up each month and I had a few extra minutes this morning so I thought I would save Barb some time so here we go.....

This thread is to track your exercise. Post your goals and then edit your post to update your exercise.


Goal 1000 minutes

Oct 1 - 5 hours of moving & sorting aunt's boxes (counting as 2 hours due to a lot of sitting)

Oct 2 - 2 hours of cookie duty at church (lots of walking) :o

Oct 3 - none - worked 13 hours EOM

Oct 4 - lunch walk 4/10 mile 12 min (feeling old and slow today)

Oct 5 - lunch walk 4/10 mile 12 min (not feeling well today-sore throat-ear ache-sinuses really bad) - 20 min house cleaning

Oct 6 - none - really sick today - think it is a major head cold - feel pretty miserable today

Oct 7 - none - still really sick

Oct 8 - none - still really sick

Oct 9 - none - starting to feel better but sill sick

Oct 10 - none - still sick and to tired after working all day

I don't know if this counts, because my goal isn't in minutes. My goal is just to get off my duff and go for a walk - even just once or twice a week! Ideally, I'd like to go for a walk 3 days a week with DS (in his stroller, oc, as his pace wouldn't be much exercise for me). Can I include this? Or do I have to put so many minutes down as my goal?

Need to apologize to everyone here at the challenge board. I have not been able to exercise this month as my mom had a bad fall and have been spending my days caring for her. Hope to re-start again in November. Hope everyone had a good month and kept up the good work!

My goal this month have to be more moderate because of the fall.
I have to start slow with my running/impact exercises. Pilates to work on my core 2-3 x a week, walk 5-6 days a week, maybe do elipitical or bike 1 day a week this month

OK I'm in again for the challenge. I smoked my last month by 500 minutes. Started late and said I would do 1500 min but ended up doing 2000 min by the end of the month. And i lost 20 lbs! Feeling great so I will say im going to do 2000 min this month. Lets keep up the great work! Lets do this!
