Default Back to P1 or P2?

Over the past couple of weeks, I've slipped into being more into phase 3 of SB. Then once hurricane Katrina hit our state, and even though we're not directly on the coast, we've been without power, and had minor damages to the house due to the storm. I found myself looking for comfort foods, and really anything that was available, since all our fresh fruits, veggies, and meats were ruined.
Now that we have power again, and I've been able to go to the grocery, I bought things for phase 2 and want to get back on track. I don't think I've gained any weight, but I also since the summer have cut back on my workouts, I'm going 2-3 times a week instead of 4-5. So I'm a little worried.

Here's my question...is going back on P2 going to be enough as long as I increase my exercise again? Or should I go back to P1 for a week or so?
Any help or advice you can give would be so appreciated!

If it were me, I'd do phase 1 for at least a few days, to kick start my diet again (how long would depend on what sorts of "comfort foods" I'd been eating). Then I'd go to phase 2 but take it easy on the carbs, just like transitioning from ph1 to ph2 normally would be. That's what I would do in that sort of situation.

I'm glad it was only minor damages - it could have been so much worse! I'm still sorry you got hit at all, though. This is going to be a tough fall and winter for a lot of folks down south.

i'd personaly go back on phase 1 again for at least a week so that the ccravings that may have started to sneak up on you while you weren't eating properly (and understandably so) are banished.

that's just my $0.02

Kelly, I'd see how I'm feeling emotionally. If you think you're going to sabotage yourself by cheating on Phase I, stick to Phase II for awhile until you're feeling "stronger".
I'm so glad you're alright, and that you've got power back.

Whenever I have a planned or unplanned lapse, or when I'm just in need of a change, I go back to P1 for a week. It gets me back on track, I see a quick weight loss and my motivation comes back strong. That strategy really seems to be working for me.

Thanks so much, ladies. I'm making out my grocery list for P1 right now. I may stay on it just one week, possibly two. I'll see how things go! Thanks again!
