Help!

  • I have been so faithful to the S.B. diet since last Friday! That's a long time for me - new eating habits, new recipies, etc. I really, really do feel that I've lost inches. My stomach is flatter, but I just went and weighed in, and have not lost anything. Does that come later or what? Please tell me that this diet works if you stick to it! I'm glad that I'm eating healthier, but is restricting myself so much for 14 days in Phase I really going to show me results? Please answer!
    Thanks.

Don't give up! The SB Diet really does work! The first two weeks are really tough, but if you can get through that...you can do anything! Remember, if you didn't have any sugar, etc. your cravings should be much less. Physically, you should have none, but I know all about psychological cravings!

I have been on the diet for 7 weeks now and have lost 26 pounds. If I can do it, you can, too! Hang in there! Do it for YOU!

  • You might get more specific responses by posting in the SB forum, but...it's going to be difficult to see much of a difference with any diet (lifestyle change, whatever you want to call it) in just a week. Most people who post huge losses in the first week or two are really only losing water weight rather than fat. The first 2-3 months for me I only lost 4 lbs. If SB feels too restrictive, try something else, but don't expect too much of yourself without giving it at least a couple of months.
  • You said so yourself, you’re feeling flatter and you feel like you’ve lost inches. I’ve never done S.B but I’ve considered it and in reading about it, it sounds very healthy. Stick to it. If you haven’t already you soon will be feeling so much better. IMO, eating healthy brings rewards that are equal to losing weight. You feel much clearer, more energetic and just plain healthy! I speak from experience, I lost 100 pounds and over the course of three years. I recently fell off the wagon in a big way and a week later I still feel “not right”. So I say give it time, another three weeks at least. And remember the scale doesn’t give you all the information.
  • Don't give up. Keep it up and don't look at the scale for results. I know its hard to do that. You can do this.
