Thumbs down NO More EGGS- PLEASE!

I am about to gag at the thought of eating eggs/omelets for breakfast again tomorrow. And this is only my second day on P1. Any other breakfast suggestions?

TIA!

Check out the receipes in this P1 link... and you don't have to have what we traditionally think of for breakfast..I had left over taco bake this morning... and love cottage cheese with tomato..

I feel your pain!! I used to love omlettes with cheese and vegetables but they made me sick a few weeks ago and haven't had them since. I've lived on cottage cheese protein shakes and summer squash pancakes. The mock french toast is really good too. I also always eat some veggies in the morning like a cup of broccoli or spinach. Just hang in there, P2 isn't far away!!

Do you think if I made an omlette the night before, it would be ok heated up in the micro the next morning?

I make a very quick omelette right in my microwave....I spray a soup bowl, pour in eggbeaters or whites, a splash of skim milk, a slice of fat-free american cheese, baby spinach raw and sometimes a soy sausage or slice of ham, a bit on onion and hot sauce.

microwave on high one minute, stir and repeat.

My standard on the run breakfast is a glass of V8, four Stoned Wheat Thin crackers with two wedges of Laughing Cow cheese and a sliced tomato with basil on top of the crackers and cheese. Tasty and fills me up. I eat eggs only about once a week. There is no reason why you couldn't have supper leftovers. Think outside the box!

And everyone should read or re-read the breakfast idea thread in the FAQ! I just did and have some ideas to change my boring routine.

I usually do dinner lefovers for lunch..that is if DH does not "finish up" dinner after I go to bed ...Gotta hate men that are 6' tall 185 pounds of solid muscle, that eat non stop, and eat anything they want.
