:lol3: I'll get you, my pretty...
|
Ellis,
What were you doing on that scale? Girl, you know better then that!! hehehe...I did the same thing. Lydia |
Ok, so I'm new, what does PO mean???
Hope everyone is having a good day. Here it is raining and only about 45 degrees, kind of a bummer for the bike ride I had in mind. :( |
It's OP, Cashus, and it mean "on plan". ;)
The only other abbreviations I can think of right now are: DH= dear husband DP= dear partner DD= dear daughter DS= dear son MIL= mother in law DIL= daughter in law etc... It's cool here, too, but lovely and sunny. I just came in from a read in the garden. :) Wrapped up in blankets. |
Hi, everyone! I would really like to start over with Phase 1 again, but need to wait till Monday. I did Phase 1 for a week about a month ago and stopped. I really want to do it right this time and would love the support of you "more experienced" gals! ;) Have a great weekend and I'll check in again in a couple of days!

Veggies
:barf:UGH! Is it normal on day 2 to be sick of veggies? I feel like a bunny.....
Any suggestions? Tami |
Tami, start mixing up those veggies! Try coleslaw, 3 bean salad, broccoli, cheese and bacon salad (YUM!), the turnips and greens recipe (amazingly good!), and others. Make it fun and interesting...don't stick to salads and raw veggies, okay? You'll get easily bored that way!
PO! (in my book, PO is Pissed Off) You can find a list of acronyms here: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30925 If any are missing, just let us know, and we'll add them. :) |
Crazy good crab and shrimp
So I had this craving at work for shrimp and crab...this is what I came up with and it was soooo good. I'd definately eat it even if I wasn't on SB. I do believe it is P1 friendly! :hungry:
Crazy Good Crab and Shrimp 1 12oz. can evaporated skim milk about 2T margarine 1 triangle of light laughing cow swiss cheese salt cayanne pepper(go easy, it gets hot fast!!) garlic powder Put all above ingredients into a sauce pan and simmer until melted and reduced down to a thickness you desire. Add desired amount of cooked shrimp and immitation or real crabmeat at this point. Keep it on the stove just enough to heat meat through. Eat up!!!! This makes quite a bit of sauce so if you are eating for 1, just cut recipe in half. It is very rich and hits the spot, let me know what you think. By the by...I believe I should do more proof reading or I have dislexia, thanks for the correction and the link on the abbreviations! :o Hope everyone had a great day! |
Oh, my! That sounds good, Cashus! I'm going to copy it into the recipe section... thank you!
|
Cashus,
Sounds yummy. I buy the immitation crab all the time. It's usually less then $2 a pound. Lydia |
I'm still OP! :hat:
How is everyone else doing? |
ellis - just checking up on you.. sounds like you are doing great. But I've got my eye on you! (hmm, that could be taken in a variety of ways... ) I am feeling a bit better, but am giving my body a rest from the dieting scene.. and eating tons of fruits, and veggies.
-Aimee |
Thanks, Aimee. :) I've been OP for four days, and I've lost three pounds!
I'm glad you're feeling a little better. You'll get back on plan when you're ready, hon. :grouphug: Keep it up with the fruits and veggies!! :hat: |
Wow! Impressive. I see we've both changed our tickers. I like yours better than I like mine!
|
So, things could be much worse!! I lost 1lb over the weekend. That's saying a lot for me, weekends are hard for me to stay op. My goal today is to get all my water in! :coffee: Hope everyone has a great day!
