Default Lo carb on the way out

Our trade magazine had an article on lc stores. One store in LA dropped from $100,000 monthly sales to $30,000. The guy was going to open several more stores but is now abandoning that move. I wonder how hard it will be for people who continue on lc to find products they want. Another good reason to stay on the beach as we eat real food and let's be honest it was pretty reasonable to follow plan even before Kraft came out with their convenience products. I do know that the real hardcore lc'rs don't eat "Frankenfoods" either though.

I think the trend away from LC products has been happening over the past year. Let's face it - we need real food and a balance of carbs, fat and protein!

Hi Ladies

Thats Why I love the South Beach way of eating. Its the healthies diet out there and we're always compared with the lc scene but we're not. I see articles and TV interviews with Dr A. and no matter what he says, they still don't believe him. What fools. ??????????? At least we know & believe the SB is our way of life and we see results. Hugs BB

I think people realize that you need a balance of everything in your life. Atkins is way to restrictive and you need carbs, healthy ones, for brain function. I no longer crave pasta and rice and when I do allow myself the white kind ( or sometimes my family wants those Lipton ones) I take a few bites and think it tastes salty or not as great as I used to remember. I perfer the real taste of veggies and the nutty flavor of brown rice.
