Default The Weekend - April 9 & 10

A real quickie this morning as I got sucked into watching the Chuck and Cammy Show on CNN. Too bad they couldn't have just eloped. Such a fuss!

Lucy is due at Holly's for a fur styling at 8 and Harry isn't up, dressed and fed so I'm outta here for now. It's a gorgeous golden day out there and I intend to enjoy it. I hope you can do the same.

Back later but wanted to get us started.

Thanks to everyone for all the of the congratz and encouragement!! It was hard last night, we went out to dinner and I ordered just a PLAIN grilled chicken breast...but for the life of me, it did NOT taste plain...hmmmmmm...and then, I over indulged in a few too many nuts. But, back to way strict today, thankfully it wasn't those Starbursts left over form my sons Easter basket, I'm really so very impressed by everyone here, especially those that have lost some pretty impressive amounts of weight! thats so great, congratz to each of you!

Everyone have a fantastic weekend!

Good Morning.

I had a horrible night's sleep. My little pup, Louise, licked all night. Do any of you have suggestions about that. I am a really light sleeper, but my husband and I like to have her in the room with us in case she needs to go potty.

I too have been up watching the wedding. What a hat she was wearing. Certainly a different affair than the Charles and Di wedding.

I am very excited that my sugar fix didn't affect my weight too much. I am still 2 days early for my Monday goal! How exciting. I am really looking forward to next week though, 143. I haven't weighed that in 6 years, (high school). My hunny, is still doing great as well, his is much more a stickler than I am, and he is down to 223. only 18 more to go!

I am walking with a girlfriend this morning and then going to lay in bed and grade papers while I try to recover from whatever it is thats ailing me.

have a great day everyone. Enjoy the beautiful weather, life's a beach!

Louise (I KNOW that's not your name... it's your pup's... you need to put yours at the bottom of your posts ), you and your hunny are doing so well!! Congratulations to both of you!
I hope you feel better soon, sweetie.

Ruth, your girls go to the hairdresser more often that I do.
Isn't it beautiful out!?!?

Camilla has to wear hats like that to detract from her face. Charles should start wearing them, too. (that was so PI. apologies to anyone I've offended. I'm British, and I feel entitled to make personal comments. )

I got the back hall cleared out yesterday! You know, the shoe problem is mostly because of our 15 year old daughter. When I was her age, I might have had two pairs of shoes. I'm assuming I had a pair for church, although I don't really remember. I just remember that I had a once-a-year pair of running shoes, and I wore them for every occasion. Why does my daughter need 30 pairs of shoes?

Going to get coffee...

Hey all! I'm back!

I haven't had a chance to read over all the posts I've missed so I'm flying a little blind here. I'll give you a quick run down and then catch up with ya'all later!

Diet - Let's just say I'm afraid of the scale. I stuck to the diet one day and the other nine were down the crapper. I won't even go into details because it may just scare people right off their diets. However I do have to mention - just when you think they've deep fried everything - you're wrong! Deep fried corn on the cob. Not joking.

Exercise - We did a ton of beach walking and shell hunting.

Weather - Perfect. Except it rained the first two days but that was ok because we went shopping for groceries and clothes!

Tan - Excellent - tried a 15 oil by Banana Boat - Tannest I've ever been. I just got back from the grocery store. Everyone stares at you like you have no clothes on or something. The starbucks guy - some real pale teenager says - I really hate you right now.

Fox Hunting - Bami got to tell ya I fell in love with a darling from Tuskaloosa Alabama. He is going to UA to become a Doctor. We were hot tubbing together, he was there with his buddies, Jacob, Josh and Jake. Waaaaay Waaaaaay too young for me but dark curly hair and green eyes. All the teenage girls with us were in love with Josh. Also from Alabama blond and blue eyed. They were a laugh riot. We fed them every night at our community dinner. Then we invited the girls they were in love with - Brittany, Brittany and Jessica to try and hook them up. Not sure if it worked but we all had a good time.

Shopping - Excellent. Bought a bunch of new outfits from one of my favorite stores. Got some really cute sandals too. I got the cutest flip flops from a company called David and Goliath - they have a funny cartoon girl on them and they say - Boys stink throw rocks at them. DS was not happy I bought those.

Oh well - I better run and get unpacked. I'll try and get caught up with everyone later. Missed you guys!

Well today is shopping day to get ready to start phase 1 tomorrow. Just going through the book and making a list.

As for the royal wedding - when he married Diana we had street parties and everything. But no one seemed at all bothered with this one.

Good Morning from Cold Colorado where we are under a blizzard watch till and including Monday.

My printer must be tired!

I have EVERYTHING I need to revamp my eating.

I LOVE this way of life and hope now to learn even more about me, my food habits, my food demons and what to eat.

Have a super day.

Hi, all. I have a two-fold post.

My mom picked up dd's to take them for a sleep over at her house. My dh and I have the house to ourselves; what did we do, you ask? We spring cleaned their room while they were out for the night, went to pick up the my one year olds' pictres from JC Penney's, had some take out Chinese food ( I cheated some), and fell asleep on the couch watching a movie. I had a wonderful quiet evening at home. Today, I have to pick them up at 11.

My second part of the post.

Help, I seem to be stuck, I think. Can't seem to get past the 15 lb marker. I do stick to the phase 2 plan (until last night, but I'm not upset about that). I started exercising maybe to help jumpstart me off my plateau. Nothing works. I even went back to Phase 1 for a week, hoping I could offset anything.

Open to suggestions!!!

Sorry to vent about me. Hope everyone else is having a good weekend!!

Good morning, everyone! It's been a beautiful weekend here although there is talk of thunderstorms today. I made it to Foley's for their sale yesterday. Not only did I fit into size 8 pants but I fit into a small shirt! WOW! A year ago I was wearing size 20 clothes! I later went to a garage sale and got a lot of cheaper stuff so I don't have to feel so bad about how much I spent on three things at Foley's.

I did make it to the one hour Powerflex class at the gym. That class is a real workout. Later I donated blood. They only had sweetened drinks so I drank a Poweraid and I think it spiked my sugar too high. Later I was feeling dizzy and sick. Next time I'm bringing my own snacks and water.

I'm working now and have been since 3:30AM. Hopefully we'll be done soon. I'd like to get back out to the garden before it rains. I made a lot of progress yesterday and would love to get some more stuff planted today.
