Morning chicks I will get us started again this morning. It is a gloomy day here today. They are calling for rain. I don't have much on the plan for today a little house work, and a little laundry and that is about it. It is a good day for curling up with a book. I bought the Curves book last night and I think I will start that today. I need to go put on the tea pot. What's happen on your part of the beach today ?

Hi there, Little Chick. It's gloomy here today but we had our rain yesterday afternoon. Did we ever! I was in Kingston and driving home was tense, to say the least! When it rains in torrents, I usually pull over and wait it out but you can't do that on the 401, especially when hemmed in by transports! By the way, I didn't buy a darn thing except groceries in my five hours off! Nothing appealed.

Today I am going to the Greenhouse to plant impatiens, I think. They come in little plugs the size of a pencil and need to be transplanted into 4-packs to grow to size. Sweet little babies!

Before I go, I'll update the weightloss and targets stickies. I could not get onto the Net yesterday afternoon. I think my ISP has trouble when it rains. No roof maybe?

Good Morning Chicks. I'm here bright and early with the pup. Sometimes sunrises are worth getting up for. I'm sipping the latte for a moment before I get some serious cleaning done around this office. Why is it that whenever my college girls are here the place is spotless, but the moment they leave it's a sty again. Am I this much of a slob? Yes, apparently it is so.

Day 5 of Phase One and no troubles staying OP yet! Now the weekend...the hard part. I got the ok from DF to start at Curves. I think I'll start at the end of next week. Don't want to go to over the edge during Phase I. So you'll have to let me know how that book is Little Chick.

Hi Chicks! Getting ready to start my shift...I work in a Level 1 Trauma ER. Hope it will be "quiet" but ...Friday and raining here , not a good combo. So far , I'm ending P1 with a 5 lb loss, don't think that is too bad. My energy level has improved and I feel much better. I have enjoyed this board soooo much !! Have a great day!

Sarah, no beautiful sunrise here but I'm hoping the nice weather will move back up here over the weekend. I'm waving atcha across the thousand Islands Bridge. My bedroom gets to be a sty too. I have no idea how that happens.

So I just looked up directions for my doctor....I just moved here about 6 months ago. My doctor is located on Big Beaver Road....funny place for a gynecologist!! Sorry...had to share!

Morning Bamie and hello again Cottage! It's good to be back, and any workout at this point would be a good one!

Beautiful start of a morning.....and then crash! Got three garbage bags full from the entire office. Shelby chewed up the stuffed squeaker one of my clients brought in. I cleaned up the snow, but couldn't find the remains. I looked away for 2 minutes and she had the place covered in snow again! She's a sneaky one.....

So...... I sit down, ready for peace and I knock my latte all over my current clothes! GRRR....off to Old Navy to pick up some cheap jeans....

Hope the rest of you ladies have a PEACEFUL one!

Just time for a quick hi and then I have to go up to the school to chaperone the kids to the Arboretum. I posted LATE last night. Work has been crazy. 52 hours so far this week. Even though I am off today I'll be working 4 or 5 hours tonight but at least it will be from home. Last night I got stuck at the office packing equipment until 1 AM. Dinner came from the snack machine and let's just say, I'm glad I made goal for the month. I'm sure I could have done better with proper food and sleep the last few days.

Good Morning Chickadees !!

It's sunny and beautiful here this morning. A chill still hangs around, but it's supposed to get nice later today. I'm just happy to see the sun!

Yesterday was extremely busy. Went out to eat and ordered a salad with a chicken breast added not an easy feat since I was in a pasta place.

Went shopping and came home with groceries, nothing more exciting than a spaghetti squash, which may not be exciting to anyone else, but hey, I've never tried 'em before

Got home a bit late, but even after walking around for nearly 2 hours, jumped on my TM and jogged for 20 and did 15 mins of circuits Let me tell you, if you want to feel the burn, do circuits. I'm pretty happy with the change and I hope it makes a difference to my shape.

Anyway, today I'm at work, and it's QUIET! I finish early today though, thank the big guy. I need some down time (after my walk of course ) Glad to hear everyone's spirits are up despite the rain, but April Showers and all that jazz! TGIF!!!

"The Foot" woke me up during the night!! I am sure the shot wore off. I need drugs!!LOL. Advil did help. Enough pity, there are people with MUCH worse conditions than mine.

I was feeling pretty rough this morning and did have a small bowl of Irish oatmeal with my egg. I know that might slow down the initial weight loss, but I am committed to this for at least 16 weeks. (That's when I go on vacation, yes to the beach)

My April weigh in was up,possible the meds.

Ruth, My dad used to have a greenhouse, what fun. Think of all the money you saved yesterday. You going to need that for your skinny LCD!!

I am off to get caught up on some school work for next week ( we are on Spring Break).. This evening, DH and I are off to see our son at college, about an hour away.
We are taking him out for dinner and then to music performance back on campus. He is such a great guy, ( sorry I am biased) he is on full scholarship, so he works really hard, it will be nice to see him. Hope I can find something "Beachy" on the menu. New restaurant, haven't a clue, I am sure there will at least be a salad..
