Barb, what's super gross is the chicken pizza topping in the Deluxe Pizza (any meat referred to as a topping is just gross to begin with...

) sometimes fried in PORK FAT!!!

How disgusting!!! How can that be part of something called SBD???
Hi,

I'm going to look out for these frozen entrees that the SB is puting out,as our Spermarkets don't have them yet. I use Lean Cuisine alot and it doesn't have any effecton my weight. So when the SB come to our Markets I'm going to give it a try. Hugs

I checked out some of the SBD prepackaged foods, too, and was really dissappointed in the ingredients. I was hoping to get some meal replacement bars to keep in the car for emergencies, but no thanks.
I saw the lean cousine spa meals at the store recently, it seems like they are healthier then the SBD ones. How sad. I was really looking forward to the convience of not having to cook all the time.
Has any one tried the Kashi snack bars? I saw them at Sam's club. They seem to have too much sugar.

Well, SB pre-packaged foods have come to my town! I couldn't resist getting what they call part of this diet (with all those ingredients, I just don't get it)! Anyway, I tried the garlic chicken and green bean frozen entree and I was pretty impressed with it. It's good! The green beans are really good. I also got the cereal (the cinnamon one) and couldn't put that stuff down! I had it for breakfast and then ended up snacking on it later. I really like that too. I also got the cereal bars (the PB ones). They're not something I need to have. They're OK but could tell they had way too many ingredients in them.
I was a little reluctant to try these things because I know when I was on Atkins the pre-packaged foods tasted nasty (way too much soy for me). I think I may stick with certain things from SB and keep most everything else to a minimum (maybe a bar on wedding days?). They've gotta be better than eating wedding cake!
There seems to be a high carb content in some of the items too (one was 48 g) as well as salt. I am still sticking with fresh is best. I am too used to eating home-made now

I'm a WW gal, but bought a package of the SBD chicken caesar wraps the other day just to try them out. I brought it to work with me today for lunch, just ate it, so I had to come over and see what you all thought of them -- and now I see!!

I totally agree with the opinions I'm reading from you all. While it tasted quite good, I wonder why the high fat and sodium content? I even left the salad dressing off and just ate the wrap, chicken and parmesan. It's very high in fiber, which will hopefully offset some of the fat ? but the sodium??? No way could I eat that like that on a regular basis ... I agree that between these and fresh, fresh is definitely the way to go. PLUS I thought it was a little pricey. It was $3.49 for the package which also included a little cup of SF cherry jello. If anyone's interested, they were (at least at my store) right by the Lunchables.
And that's MY 2 cents' worth!!
Hi gals! Im a regular frozen entree person at work.. Okay, $$ I'm having a hard time Yes, Im little dissappointed w/the fat and sodium.
On the other hand,

They tasted pretty good better than any other frzn lo carb meal. (btw, Im trying PH1 again!) I tried the PB bars and I liked them even tho Im an anti bar person. I may purchase a box for mountain hiking this summer.
I liked the chicken with marinara sauce the best so far.. pretty good.
I've not seen the SB pre packaged foods yet, so I can't comment on them. But for a meal or snack bar or shake the best I've found is the Slim Fast Low Carb. NOT the Optima, but the Low Carb. They taste good and seem to be the healthiest I've found so far. I don't eat them often but sometimes I do have one as a snack or something for "on the go".
Lunches at work have always been a challenge for me, so when I saw the SBD fro meals, I bought a few. I stuck with the Phase I items... they are tasty, but I am also a little leary of the ingredients.
I bought some of the new food today too.I found it at Winn Dixie.I tried the turkey and bacon wrap.It was very good and filling.Especially heated.I had a caesar salad with it .I am impressed with the protein and fiber content too.The prices are about the same for other similar products I was buying.
