Weight loss question
Okay I just was curious as to what was your average weight loss in the first 2 weeks of phase 1? I know the book says like 8-13 but I was wondering about people on here.

I lost I think about 6pounds. Most do not lose that much (13#'s) but some do. I think alot of it depends on what your eating habits were before you started SBD.

I lost 7 on Phase I. A lot depends on how much you need to lose, your age, your body, whether you've been dieting before, etc.
Remember this is a lifestyle change and don't rush it! |
I lost 6 lbs in phase I. I know it frustrating, but remember - the slower you lose the weight, the slower it will come creeping back!

i lost 8 lbs with some cheating ( i just couldn't give up some form of alcohol)

I lost 6 pounds on phase 1. However, DH lost 15.

I had to do phase I twice, thanks to too much Christmas cheer. :o But I lost eight pounds both times. Also, I would lose the first seven pounds in the first week, then only one on the second... :?:

I'm going to skew the results...but remember, I was really overweight (326 lbs.), had not dieted AT ALL for over three years, and did not cheat at all during Phase 2. I lost 26 pounds.

I lost 11 lbs the first time I did this. I am in the first part of week 2 and I have lost 5 lbs. I too got way out of control at the Holidays.

I lost 4 pounds in phase 1. BUT, I was on a diuretic so I didn't have any water to lose.

I lost about 4 pounds, but I only have a few more pounds to lose to reach goal. My friend and coworker is doing South Beach too and she has lost 14 pounds in two weeks. WAHOO!!!!
