New To The Beach
Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to check in and let everyone know that I'm new to the "Beach". I'm really excited about the prospects of losing weight, and anxious to hear what everyone else has experienced--I need some motivation!!! :-) Today is day 1 of Phase I for me. I weighed in this morning at 188. I'm 5'8, and my goal weight is 155-160. I'm, snuggly in a sz. 14, but would love to make it into a 10! Tell me what I have to look forward to!! I'm on my way!! |

Hi. I've decided to go with sbd after all. I was gonna go Dr. Phil, but, I think sb would better suit my needs right now, as I'm hopelessly hooked on carbs and sugar. I start phase one tomorrow. Wish me luck. Had two muffins and coffee for breakfast, then major workout, now, feeling sick.

Jazzie, I love Dr. Phil but I don't think the book is enough structure for me. I taylor allot of things he said and work thru the keys. I use his book for motivation and have some of his ideas. :smug: |

;) Hello Everyone! Well here goes!! I start SB on Sunday. I've been reading all the posts til my eyes went crazy and have my grocery list in hand!Today is my 53rd birthday day and last weekend I had bad car accident (I'm ok but the car will barely survive and it's not even 6 mos old :( ) but I'm ready and won't let anything get in my way!!! Going out tonight and have :cheers: booze and dessert :hb: and get ready for my life change!! Wish me luck!!

Hey Jan! Welcome aboard! Sorry to hear about your accident. I hope you come out good on your car! That's how I got my new van but I would rather have my other van I liked it just as well if not better! lol

AZ....not sure if your question was directed at me but I'll answer ;)
It went really well! B: eggs with sauteed mushrooms and Candian bacon, coffee S: grape tomatoes and string cheese L: I made tuna burgers, cottage cheese, some sort of veggie (can't remember now) D: roast beef and roasted veggies (asparagus, peppers, squash, zucchini) no snack/dessert It seems too simple :) Hope I'm doing it right. Monday had a slight headache but no problems since. How about you?? Jan |
