New to SB

  • Hi Everyone, today is my first day doing south beach. I was doing weight watchers and lost about 15 lbs since July doing it. But the past month or so I have not lost really, so I decided I needed a change. WW allowed me to still eat way too much junk and sugary stuff. I tired atkins about 2 years ago and only lasted about 3 days before getting really sick. So I know this first phase is gonna be super hard for me!
    For breakfast today I had a cup of cherry tomatoes and 2 lauging cow cheeses..
    for lunch I brought 4 turkey roll ups with mayo in them, 2 dill pickles, and a salad...not sure what I will be having for dinner since I decided last night to start today and don't have the kitchen stocked too well!

    I know you'll love the Beach...it's much less restrictive than Atkins, IMHO, but much healthier than our previous diets. It's a good thing!

    The best way to get real results from Phase 1 is to do it with absolutely NO cheats! This means having a lot of SBD-safe food in the house. I recommend going to the grocery store today or as soon as possible and stocking up on things that will make this easier!

    Also, check out the recipe forum...things like the Taco Bake, Stuffed Chicken, Almond Dijon Chicken, and Peanut Butter Cup really got most of us through Phase 1!
