Hi chicks! I hope you all have wonderful days! Nothing exciting here happening today, so I am going to focus on finding a place to exercise (either Curves or the Y and check other options too.)

Mama, Have a great time with DD and DSIL and have fun at your uncle's birthday bash! I hope your horse pills make your bites much better!

Ruth, I am going to read some back posts to learn more about your dogs and puppies and what kind of rehersal you're off to. :D I am thinking you're a fellow thespian (though I haven't been involved in community theater in years) since you said something about learning lines! It all sounds very exciting. I am a dog lover. I can't have a pooch where I live now, but as soon as I have my own house, I am getting one! Nothing like the unconditional love of a dog. :)

Bamie, I should be doing that "cleaning" thing you're talking about. I hope your knee feels better!

Little Chick, I am new here so we haven't met yet! Hi! I am glad you're back! I know how tough looking for a job can be (I am in that boat myself.) It's quite a challenge.

Ellis, Good luck with your home improvements today!

Barb, YAY for exercise! That upcoming trip with your son sounds like great fun!

Lauren, Well yes I want to read it! Please!!

Laurie, Wow!! That must have felt so wonderful to try on that dress and have it be too big!! Congrats!

Fuzzy, I'm tap dancing over here to entertain you and keep you awake...
No really, I am! Is it working? .... Fuzzy? .... <shakes Fuzzy to wake her up>(hee hee)

Heidi, I completely understand what you're talking about, sister! It's amazing that no matter how old we get, we can easily slip back into old patterns when we're with our families. Good for you for planning ahead and cutting up those veggies... smart woman!

Jenne, Don't feel badly that you're starting phase one again. It's great! That's what phase one is all about, because we all get off track sometimes and need to get back on. What counts is you're back on track now and ready to start again tomorrow!

Kelly, I hope you feel better! I was sick yesterday, but it seems to have been a 24 hours thing and I feel much better today. Good luck with your test on Saturday!

Hello all!

Hope everyone is doing well! I am pretty happy! ;)
I had weigh in last night and I was down another 5 pounds! Bringing my total weight loss on phase I to 13 1/2 pounds! Now I am going to start phase 2. :dizzy: Just wondering if anyone has any tips for me with this new phase! Also any new ideas for breakfast. It has to be something simple as I eat at work in the mornings so need to beable to take with me with little prep time!

Anyway, keep pressing on everyone! Won't be around tomorrow or Monday as we are going to Barrie for a Wedding so see everyone on tuesday!

Buckie

Hi everyone! Sorry to keep you in suspense!! Of course, whoever does the website for the paper didn't get the column posted (?????) and it went straight into the achives part of the site, which you have to pay for -- grrrr! SO, DH said he'd send it over from his original document tomorrow, and then I can post it. :) I have the hard copy here, but I don't want to type it in, and DH is already home for the afternoon.

:) Lauren

Hi all,

LittleChick and Jenne - Hooray! You're back! We've really been missing you!

LaurieX - I had forgotten about the boat races, but I may go and try to guess which one is you! Good luck, and that picture is adorable!

I made the muffins this morn, and they are delicious! I made 1/2 cinnamin walnut, and the other half raspberry lemon. I'm going to try adding some natural peanutbutter and a tsp of peanutbutter extract next time, wijth some mini dark choc. chips. I bet that'll be really good!

Just looked at the time, and gotta run - I need to go to Curves!

Wow! No one has posted since I was last here! Feel better, now that I got my workout for the day done. I couldn't go this morning because I got a last-minute plea to babysit starting at 7 am, and I can't say no. We just finished our supper of Flounder Almondine with grilled zucchini and steamed broccoli, and I made some ww noodles for Jake. So now I'm free for the rest of the evening! I'm looking forward to watching "Survivor" later, then looking for a new book to read. One of the new books I just bought at BJ's last week is one I already read! Darn, it hate it when they redo the cover and make it look like a newly released book!

Lauren, I'm looking forward to reading your DH's column!

Buckie, Your weight loss for Phase 1 is fantastic! For quick breakfasts on-the-go I like the Breakfast Quiches, and try the muffins.

Mama, those "horse pills" should put an end to your spider saga. Hope they do the job quickly!

fuzzy, hope you get a good nite's sleep tonight.

Heidi, you are smart to be prepared for your Mom's visit!

Ellis, you're DH sounds like a real sweetheart. I'm pissed at mine right now, wanna swap?

Kelly, hope you get well soon!

Bamie, what's this egg and tuna thing?

Ruth, Hope you're having a fun day off.

Kryss, If you're looking for a fun exercise class, Curves is great! I was never a fan of exercise, but I joined in May, and I love it, and it really works!

Barb, Have fun in Corpus Cristi. My DD's in-laws live there, and she said it's a beautiful city.

I hope I didn't miss anyone, please forgive me if I did!

Evening!

Hi everyone,

Every day my posts get later and later! But I'm OP so I feel good. I went to the store today and purchased some pants for fall. I didn't try them on but I purchased a size smaller than usual and I'm hoping that they fit. I've been hovering around the change in size for a couple of weeks so I'm hoping that I've lost enough to make a difference. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Bami - I've got a bunch of cleaning if you ever get to west michigan. I can only get so much done on the weekends and that's it for the week.

Goldie - I can't wait to see the story! Let us know.

Mama - what fun for you!!! Have a great weekend with the family.

I missed the daily dish with the egg idea can someone post it?

LaurieX- congrats! Three years and the wedding dress story is wonderful. You must have felt terrific! What an inspiring story.

Buckie - way to go! Your weight loss is inspiring! I weigh in on Monday! Wish me luck.

Hope all had a great day on the beach!

Cottagebythesea... On the daily dish they suggested boiling eggs skices them in half like for doubled eggs only you fill them with Tuna! It was sooo good! I loved it. Now you can either throw out the yolk or mix it in with your tuna which is what I did. Great snack. I boiled 6 eggs and ate them all today. It seemed everytime I walked through the kitchen I would find one jumping in my mouth so be ware! hahaha I'll see if I still have it but I probably deleted it!
I checked my email and it's a goner! Maybe someone else still has it.
