Lightbulb Using SF syrups?

I read a really interesting article at Fabulous Foods about artificial sweeteners. The woman who wrote it, April Fields, has a lot of success cooking with the SF syrups such as DaVinci. You can see the article here:

I was wondering if anyone else has had any success creating recipes with this syrup? What do you use your syrup for? Is there a flavor that would be a good substitute for honey in recipes? I found several salad dresssing recipes this week that call for a tablespoon of honey...would love to have a substitute!

I have heard of people putting it in everything, coffee, whipped cream, yogurt. I guess you can make really good ice cream flavors with it. And you can make your own soda with soda water. Yep, and that's about it. Since I can't get them in Canada (grr) I can't experiment.

Yum! Michelle, how do you use them in your coffee? Our school got a Starbucks (evil, evil!) and I'm able to use my school card to buy coffee. *sigh* Those deluxe white chocolate mochas were so good! I was wondering how I might be able to make something like that for a once in a while treat, which keeping the sat. fat levels down.

I just pour the syrup in til I get the flavor I desire which is great since theres Nothing in them!! I also use fat free non dairy creamer and splenda. Flavoured coffee is a great after dinner dessert. I also love to flavor the plain fat free yogurt with it!!! Hazlenut yogurt yummmm some think it sounds disgusting but I just love it!! Can't be too much different than an almond ricotta creme lol. I'm sure you could use them to flavor ricotta too! AND!!! (sorry just getting ideas here!) If you like egg nog davinci has an eggnog syrup that you can flavor your milk with during the holidays, also there are fruit flavoured syrups that you can combine with cottage cheese and get the fruit and cottage cheese things they sell at the store. Or maybe as flavoured pancake syrups. You really should go on ebay and check it out they have TONS of flavors!!
