Nice that you took your car out this morning, Clovey.
Shhh! Try not to notice how eccentric she is, chickies. It's a Brit thing. Now, get started on that assignment. Getting started is the hardest part for me. I think you may have overdone it on the quiche cups.
Big vet day yesterday - and big bill! - as both Girls had tests. The vet is pretty sure Hersh's problem is hypothyroidism but we will wait for the lab results next week. I cancelled her out of her "job" and the
PR stints at The Mall as I don't want her "on show" when she has a bald ring around her eye. It's bad publicity for a little known breed. Miss Lucy was swabbed and tested on the spot but is NOT in heat. We either missed it (don't know how!) or she is late.
The window guy came yesterday to give me estimates. What a cutie! Unfortuinately his name is Kelvin!

I'm trying not to hold that against him! The estimate was less than I thought and included replacing the powder room window so I will definitely go ahead. Another estimator comes this morning, a woman named Tracy, not Kevin. I'm sure I won't fall in lust with her but you never know. :lol2: I have one more estimate to come and will make sure my head makes the decision. Oh yeah - The Girls really liked Kelvin! Does that have to be factored in?
Today is "Jane" day. I think I will go up to Perth for lunch and do some shopping. It's a lovely town and a bit touristique but just fine this time of year. I also need to check out the Canadian Tire for yet another pedometer! The one I have does NOT reset so back it goes! I am having lousy luck with pedometers! The only one I ever had that lasted was the one Ellis set for me and Lucy chomped that one!
We will have an early supper of turkey chili and salad tonight as I have a Parish Council Meeting at 7:15. That means no wine with dinner - I'll content myself with breathing garlic on everyone.
The sun's up, Harry's up, and I need to throw on some Scotch Broth soup for lunch so I'm outta here!
Have a super OP day!
