Default 3 days until phase 2 please explain

to me about how many good kind of carbs i could start eating again.
i read the book but i`m confused i dont know if there is a limit on how many times a day we can eat the carbs.
ex: can i eat oatmeal with fruit or high fiber cereal for breakfast then
for lunch some low fat protein with high fiber bread, then some brown rice or whole wheat pasta with diner and maybe another friuit or yogurt for desert.

is that too many carbs?? thanks...

My understanding is to start with one fruit and one starch a day, then gradually increase to 3x a day as long as you're not gaining weight and are happy with your weight loss (the rate will slow once you're on phase II).

I've been on phase II for 3 days now. First day I had high fiber cereal with some blueberries, regular phase 1 lunch and dinner, and added some fruit as a snack. Yesterday I had similar, added some wine, and a starch to my lunch as well. So far, I haven't lost any more, but I haven't gained either, and I'm really enjoying the fruit.

I would say reintroduce carbs slowly and see what it does to your weight loss. I reintroduced blueberries, about half a cup a day, for about four days, followed by some other fruit. Take it slowly and keep an eye on how you are feeling

When I began to add back carbs, I did it just how he did. He does add a bit all at once, like the oatmeal and then rice or something. I found that the variety was both a blessing and a curse, but I am finally balancing out at something that I think I can do and see the gradual weight loss that isn't at all sexy but will likely last.

I also tried to add fruit for the sweetness (which oddly I have begun to crave after being on SBD, never had a sweet tooth before) and the fibre.

Good luck!
