Default Question about Atkins wraps and SBD

Every Tuesday I meet my friend at Subway for something to eat before going to dance class. Subway is the halfway point for both of us to meet, we can't go home first, I can't bring my own food there and she likes to go there because the subs fit into her WW program.

Would it be okay to eat one of those new Atkins wraps they sell if I skip the sauces that are available with it? Or would I be better having a sub chicken sub on whole wheat?

I don't like getting the salads there as they are a big heap of iceberg lettuce and they are cheap with the toppings - the dressings aren't great either

I have had them a couple times. They are not very big though for the price. They leave me still hungry. The tortilla is wheat but who knows if it is whole wheat or not.

There is a thread in the F&Q forum that I posted from SBD about those wraps. I have eaten them a couple of times. I pile it up with tom. lett. and peppers and whatever else I feel like. It has the nutritional values posted in the store. Or atleast the one i go to does. You can get whatever kind of meat you want put on it. It's good for a quick fix like that. Hope this helps. My kids love Subway and want to go there all the time and so I atleast eat there when it is their turn to pick. haha

I know this isn't going to help you while you are at Subway...but I have started making the subs at home. They are better! My grocery store is selling the same low carb wraps...I usually put in lettuce, light mayo, LF cheese, 2 strips turkey bacon...Kind of like a BLT, without the T (don't like them) They are very good! If I have left over chicken, I cut it up and add to it. The Atkins wraps at subway, I believe use real bacon and full fat cheese, but their mayo is light, and of course you could have mustard instead.

I would ask for the wrap and get with ham or turkey and the LF mayo or mustard...you can't go wrong with those!
