Good Morning Everyone!
I am afraid I haven't budged again this Monday morning... well, to look on the bright side I haven't gained
CHAZMOM, I think the reason I am not losing is because I am a nut snacker too! I feel like they are as addicting as chips! I cannot eat just the 10 or 15 and I think that's why I am not losing anything even though I have been working out and watching what I eat (other then the nuts!) The salt doesn't help either! Sooo, I will be joining you in laying off the nuts for a bit to see if anything changes by next Monday. Then I will know for sure --- but I am pretty sure it is the nuts
Hope to read allot of successful posts this morning "Luck" to everyone!

Hi Chazmom! Congratulations Clovey - 12 lbs in one month is just awesome!! You must be feeling so good. SunnyD - have you been recording your food intake? Maybe you could post it here and we could help out a little. Those nuts are sooo good, I agree with you.
I lost 3.5 lbs. this week - phase 1, week 1 for me. I'm excited but even more thrilled that I stayed OP for a whole week, I've been trying to get back on track since Jan 1 and I'm finally there. Thank you everyone on this board for being the most awesome support group I know. I'm adding back oatmeal for breakfast only this week b/c the weak feeling is really weighing me down and makes it really hard to exercise.
Congrats to your losses this week. This is my second weigh in and I lost 3.5 lbs. this week. Which I am very happy about due to being out of town all last week and eating out every meal. So that brings my total up to 6 lbs. Yes I am givin myself a hand! Now I just gotta get with the exercise program! I was going to start yesterday but by the time I got home late last night I was just to tired. Guess I'll have to walk 2 miles today to make up for yesterday. Good luck everyone on your weigh ins today. Stay In It!

Hello ANNE, No, I only keep record in my mind (I know exactly what I take in )...
I am in Phase-II and have been there for a few weeks, so I think the carbs are keeping me in a stall, even though they are full grained. I do have IBS and have for many, many years, so I have bloat from the grains & that will add weight. I can gain up to 3 - 4 lbs just in bloat and out of no where one day it will come off. I am not discourraged... I am hanging in there. But thank you! You are doing so well! Keep up the great job!!
You all are!CLOVEY -12lbsLESSISMORE / ANNE -3.5lbsBAMIEGURL -3.5lbs I am so very happy for anyone who is successful in their journey of weigh loss. Keep up the great job ladies!!
I was afraid to weigh in this morning because I had a (whispering) few drinks during the Super Bowl game--Hurray for the Pats! I will weigh in Wednesday, my official end to Phase I.
Sometimes you feel like a nut......and sometimes you eat a whole pound of them!!! !!!!
I am mad at myself....my first 2 weeks I lost 13 pounds, my first week on Phase 2 and I gain 1.2!!!!!!! It was the nuts over the weekend...they are officially gone! Everytime I walk in the kitchen I grab a handful, well NO MORE!!!
Glad to read about everyones losses!!!! Keep up the good work!!! I will be a loser next week!!!
Spring Break is coming up, so I am setting a 10lb loss goal by March 8th!!!
So there!!!
Lost 4 lbs. (I think) this past week. I am on the 2nd day of week 2 and eat way too many pistachios. But still 4 lbs. lighter!! I have a lot of weight to lose, so I will be staying on phase I for at least an extra week. My goal this week is to cut down on the total amount I eat, I love to graze
Congratulations to all those who took some pounds off and to those who stuck with the program anyway.
It's so great to see everyone's losses! I am glad I don't like nuts because I know I would over-do them. I think it's when you know you can eat one thing, that you just eat it because you can. Like I never eat fruit, but since I started SBD, I am all ready to eat fruit next week. I am going to follow his samples pretty closely next week to try and continue losing weight.
Well, my first official week of South Beach is over and I weighed myself and I have lost 8 pounds!!! I feel good about that. I want to lose a total of 30, so I am glad to see this loss!!!
Yeah!
Congrats to everyone and we'll all keep trying and do this thing together!!!
Sunday was my official end of phase I (yippee) and the start of phase II (scarey). I lost a total of 6 pounds during the first two weeks. It is wonderful to be 6 pounds lighter than I was 2 weeks ago. My clothes are fitting better and I'm feeling better about myself.
Hi everyone. This is my first post to this group. I just started SBD on Friday, but am encouraged so far because I haven't noticed any negative effects. Actually had a great two days and will do my first weigh-in next Monday. Good luck to everyone! This seems to be a great group and I look forward to getting to know everyone.
