Oreo cookies..allowed in Phase 2?

  • I know! NOT! I bought some for my sons lunch and took them out of the package to put in the cookie box and one just jumped into my mouth! It was the strangest thing...then another and another!! I ate 3!! Double stuffed, half regular filling half mint......DO NOT BUY THESE COOKIES..THEY COULD BE DANGEROUS! Just think...If I hadn't caught them in my mouth, one of them could have put an eye out! Whew...glad that is over You have been warned!

First day of Phase 2 and ate an apple (with an oreo chaser )

Tomorrow going to attempt oatmeal, wish me luck!

  • Hi Chazmom
Biscuits are hard work. On the plane they gave us a shortbread biscuit with the supper meal - I sat and stared and stared at it, debating whether to open it and just have one bite.......but I knew that I would not stop at that. So I just stared and stared until the air stewardess came along and said 'you finished?' and I said yes and she took the tray away and I felt this overwhelming relief...!!

    Good luck with the oatmeal.
  • Chaz, dear, try not to eat any today.
  • Why is it we are over come with the temptation to eat all things sweet and sinful... we never have this problem with the good stuff. It always seems to be a struggle with the good things and never the bad. I know I would be much slimmer if the cookie monster never invented choc chip cookies. Chazmom so glad it didn't get your eye. Hope your battle of the ugly cookie monster is won by you. ( my poor kids don't even get those things anymore for thier lunches because I have the same battle.)
  • Thankfully you saved your eyes! Quick thinking!!
  • amazing...
Isn't it amazing how brocolli just doesn't "jump" like those damn cookies do!
It's OK Chazmom...you were probably just protecting the children...they coulda lost an eye!!! LOL
Now get back on the wagon, sister!!

  • Chazmom, you're KILLING me!

I saw your post and I thought I was back on the other forum I sometimes frequent- where, unfortunately someone WOULD ask that question for real.

I hate when food jumps at me like that. I swear a napolean tried to jump through its glass case, then through the glass window of the Diner last night. I swear, it moved, it was communicating with me . Luckily it was too cold and I was too weighed down with my groceries to respond (ie cave in!).

I'm going to jump over to chat, I haven't checked in a few days!!
  • You chicks just crack me up!!!
  • Geeze...can't believe i fell for that one......I came in here thinking...what idiot would post that....glad i did...got my chuckle for the day....
  • Oreos do have secret powers
Hello all -maybe this should be a public service announcemnt.

I used to work for Kraft Foods/Nabisco. We had this really cute store downstairs taht carried all of their products.

I can completely agree with jumping in the mouth. If you visit enough they learn your name, and can call you when you're 3 floors away.

Also please beware of: (not limited to)
    Nutter Butters
Oreo Pudding Snacks (#1 best selling flavor - they learn names fast)
    Ritz Crackers
    Cheeze Whiz
    Toblerone Chocolate.

I am now working for a healthcare company, so it's much easier.

Place large distance between you and these nasty characters.

I too can attest to this behavior.
  • Ya just had to go and say Nutters Butters, didn't ya???
  • Thank You pebbles for backing me up!!! I knew I wasn't crazy!
