Ellis, go to the drugstore and by some Saline Spray. Works wonders, and is nonaddictive.

Burp! Thank you, Sflake. :D I just woke up. After having a box of chocolate rosettes and a bowl of Doritos.
Now I'm going to have some stew. urp
Oh! You made stew, too! Did it turn out? I made a pot roast, Sflake! We're both cooking today! :) Mine tastes yummy! I made it all by myself. :smug:

Oh, thanks, Happy... I missed your post! Really? I'll look for it. As soon as I'm better and can get out. :D

AWWWWW Choo!

LadyOnFire 10-26-2003 08:52 AM

I am laughing till ready to pee my pants!!!!!!! I LOVE this thread. Laughter really is the best medicine.
As for me, my butt hurts...I had a bone marrow biopsy and have CML (chronic mylogenous leukemia diagnosed last week) and all I can complain about is that my BUTT hurts!!!!! :)
I am ready for the cabana boy and the massage...just not the poor pained butt side. I KNOW that I should have had a massage on the ship. In fact I AM going to make a appointment to get allllll the good stuff. Complete massage, facial and nails the complete works!!!!
anybody ready to join me for a day of complete relaxation!!!???

ellis 10-26-2003 09:20 AM

LadyOnFire, I'm so sorry about your diagnosis. That's quite controllable, isn't it? I hope you've got lots of support at home. We're here for you when you need us. :grouphug:

Ruthxxx 10-26-2003 10:25 AM

Gee, LadyOnFire, here's a special spot for you with an antique quilt and one of those donut cushions for your poor sore butt. Please let us know how you feel.

sflake 10-26-2003 10:34 AM

Lady so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Healing thoughts are on the way to you. :D

Happy Canuk 10-26-2003 11:01 AM

Well, I think I really, really, really belong HERE today! The antibiotics have started to loosen everything up (more info. than you need to know probably). It is going to be an uncomfortable day, but tomorrow should be better.

I would like hot tea with lemon to start the day, followed by asprins.

This really is a great place.

Lady, sorry you are not well. Like someone said, we are here for you((((((()))))))

LadyOnFire 10-26-2003 09:07 PM

Thanx for the support. Picked up the girl- child and came home to make my last carb laden meal(stuffed shells) man were they good. I start back with phase one in the am. Not looking forward to it, but I love the feeling of wearing the smaller clothes.
My butt is really starting to feel better. You never know what is connected to what till you pull-pinch or injure something. Your butt is connected to EVERYTHING!!!!!
I want to be back on the beach in Bermuda, but I will take the antique blankie lots of sunscreen and the cabana boy!!!!

1busymomma 10-26-2003 11:45 PM

I was gonna join, but my headache from the pits has subsided....
Now however, I have discovered that Aunt Flo came for her monthly visit......*groan*, if it's not one pain it's another. No wonder I wanted chocolate so much today!!! LOL, oh well.

My favorite saying is "this to shall pass"

Everyone needs to get well and stay well! :)

twodogmom 10-27-2003 10:32 PM

I love it, a thread where we can complain about our aches and pains and not feel one darn bit guilty for doing it!!

I'm having terrible PMS symptoms right now....and some serious cramps. I think I'm heading into perimenopause (even though I don't want to admit I'm getting to that age), because the last few months have been "abnormal" in one way or another. Ah well, the "joys" of being a woman!

LadyOnFire, I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis (and about your painful butt). :grouphug:

sflake 10-28-2003 09:31 AM

I can totally relate 2dog...as I just started having night sweats, whats up with that?

ellis 10-28-2003 09:40 AM

It means if you're thinking of ever having children, you'd better get on it right away. :D I've been getting night sweats for the last year, Sflake.

sflake 10-29-2003 05:13 PM

They are awful aren't they? I swore someone turned the heat up to 500 degrees, no such luck. Does anything help? other than sleeping necked out in the yard :D

Nah, no kids for us except the four legged kind. Every once in a while I do get a pang then I just borrow my beautiful 6 year old nephew and poof it goes away
