Unhappy Whole Wheat Pasta

Hi , I am new to the Forum. In my third week of sbd and have lost
12 1/2 lbs so far.. Tonight I made Prince's Heatlhy Harvest whole wheat Pasta. What i failed to read on the box was This is a whole wheat Blend Pasta. A 2oz Portion contains 1.5 Grm fat-3 grm Fibor- 2 Grm Sugar.. And a whopping 42 grm Carbs.. I feel guilty.. How bad was this?

Consider it a "free meal", enjoy it and then in the future remember to read the labels. You have done wonderfully in just 3 weeks, so you earned this treat.
Congrats on the weight loss

There are good carbs and bad carbs. The good ones take longer to be absorbed by the body - lower Glycemic Index. The Book lists the GI for many foods. Most people pick the lower GI carbs. There is no set amount of carbs per day. I usually run 60 to 110 per www.fitday.com but I don't sweat it.

I recently bought the New Glucose Revolution Pocket Guide to the Complete Glycemic Index Values to have on hand for looking up foods in a hurry. Some of them are really surprising, while others make no sense at all, lol.

Anyway, there is no set limit on the number of carbs you can consume on the SBD. SBD is not a low carb diet. Choose the better carbs and better fats, and add a little each day for as long as you continue to lose weight. If you stop losing, or if you should gain, then cut back a little each day until the weight loss resumes. No counting
