Finally, March 31st and I'm outta here!
Well, actually not until tomorrow after breakfast but am definitely heading into overdrive until then. I am off to Brockville for a haircut and a few last minute things - toothpaste, etc. Poor Bruce has to do yet another funeral today - nothing like a graveyard in a snowstorm! I'm lucky to be able to miss it.
Yesterday was a fabulous day! Katherine, who is a professional events planner, is taking over the reception planning which is a huge relief. She says she will make the Hall really gorgeous which means she has elegant plans and all at no charge. I also got a phone call from the daughter of one of Bruce's old parishioners who is volunteering to make our wedding cake - I'd not even thought of that! Things are just clicking into place.
Probably won't be online again so think of me in the Florida sunshine sipping Mojitos, my new favourite drink since introduced to them by Jet. I will be soaking up spring/summer and plan to be back April 11, all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
Somebody leave the light on, OK?
