Today is the day the midway arrives to set up at the Fairground so every kid with a bike will be out gawking as the rides go up. I have a few finishing touches to do on the schoolwork display and then the winners list to complete and I'm done.

First though, coffee with the gang to catch up on the latest village news and planning of some simple Phase I meals for the week. I refuse to eat Fair Food this week. Whoops! Just remembered I promised a big crockpot of beef stew for Friday - must keep that in mind.

It is going to be a scorcher here today, getting ready to go into work. I have a breakfast meeting but I know there will be op foods so good to go. Nothing on the agenda this evening.

Ruth I am sure all of the kids are excited about the fair coming to town.

Warm and t-storms today but cooler tonight. I will go out to pick blueberries between rainstorms. I found several great recipes over at Kalyn's that I cannot wait to try. One has both blueberries and zucchini and I have both! I will have to control myself; DH and I don't really need to go overboard; I will put some in the freezer.

Ruth, sounds liks you are close to being ready! Enjoy the morning's coffee group.

Pearlrose, knowing there are OP foods makes like easier, doesn't it. I often volunteer to bring stuff so I am in control.

Hello!

Finally home from work. These days are busy. I got involved in some niggles this morning and all of a sudden it was time to go to work.

My pie cherries are ripening. I see the first red one that could actually be picked. I put them and freeze them for smoothies, as well. Still have raspberries on the other side . Looks like it will keep me busy. See you all tomorrow.
