Me! Me! although dragging a bit. Whatever this thing is that I have decided to be a cold today. Yesterday it played at being tummy flu. Maybe getting a haircut this morning will help. Meanwhile ... coffee.
We have warm and high wind warnings today while one front moves out and another one in. Unusual weather or this time of year but I'm ok with it. No snow yet!
Just another work day but the week is marching on, as is the month. I need to get out some recipes for next week and make a grocery list as well as get the boys' rooms ready for them. I tend to store a few things there while they are gone .
But first I need coffee and to get work over. Have a good day chicks!
Ruth, I'd WAY rather have a cold than the stomach flu, even though it takes a lot longer to go away! Hope you feel better soon, you've got too much to do!

I got a new electric blankie at Macy's - originally $120 (highly inflated, IMHO), for $26! Took care of a couple of Xmas presents while I was at it yesterday. Today is PT and planning that nice meal I didn't do yesterday for DH . He did make 'chicken pastry' (oops, non SBD compliant!) before he left, so we had that as leftovers. In the south, a lot of people often called it 'chicken slick', maybe if they hadn't pulled the grease off?! (eeewwwww)
The coffee is good today, thanks to the hubby. Doesn't it always taste better when someone else makes it? (well, not always...)
Good morning, Ladies! I have a few minutes to chat; I had to rush out of the house yesterday when I remembered my gas tank was almost empty and I needed to stop for a fill-up before work! I could have taken my time, though, since Cindy and the girls left for some special fox hunt and I was on my own for the entire day. And I left a bit early to stop by Kohls to take advantage of my 30% off coupon plus my $10 birthday promotion gift coupon. I got a gorgeous sweater, mock turtleneck, and some pretty Thanksgiving dish towels all for less than $14!
I have a full weekend ahead. Tomorrow will be spent with my father, I have an all-day event with my Red Hat group Saturday, and am volunteering at the church bake sale plus going to my SIL's "31" party on Sunday.
Ruth, I hope you get over your cold soon! Two weeks from today we'll be picking you up at the airport for our trip to Cape May!!!

I love Mr Danny! Not only do I have another good haircut but he noticed I was not wearing earrings and selected some rather jazzy "bling" which lifted my spirits.
Michelle called me to say she couldn't come to clean today because she had to have her old dog put down today. I am going to drive her to the vet and be with her. I know from experience that she will be too weepy to drive home. Her daughter is coming too but she will be in the same state.
