Default Healthy Holidays Exercise Club December

So we may celebrate different holidays this month. One thing we all have in common is the desire to be healthier and more active. How do you plan to keep moving this month???? Post your goals, logs or an accomplishment here. We all deserve kudos when opting for veggies instead of cookies at holiday parties.

Let stress get in the way of my progress last month. Going for 1000 minutes and no weight gain this month.

1 30 minutes cycling 20 min walking very brisk pace.
2 45 minutes cycling
3 rest
4 30 minute spinning
5. 65 minutes cycling

12 40 minutes cycling
13 60 minutes cycling....boy do I gave a way to go

I'm recommitting to exercise this month. Weekly goals are:
50 minutes trampoline time
100 minutes exercise bike
80 minutes upper body weights
500 hula hoops
75,000 steps
1 running session (weather permitting)


12/1: 20 minutes bike, 15 minutes upper body weights, 100 hula hoops, 11,900 steps
12/2: 25 minutes bike, 15 minutes upper body weights, 10 minutes trampoline time, 13,901 steps
12/3: 13,148 steps
12/4: 25 minutes bike, 15,112 steps
12/5: 14,103 steps
12/6: 35 minutes bike, 15 minutes upper body weights, 2,381 steps
12/7: 13,986 steps

Goal results:
50 minutes trampoline time: only did 10 and then my PT advised me not to do this until my pelvis is stabilized. Will choose a different goal for next week.
100 minutes exercise bike: did 105 minutes. Goal met!
80 minutes upper body weights: did 45.
500 hula hoops: did 100.
75,000 steps: did 84,441. Goal met!
1 running session: did none.

This week's goals/actual:
120 minutes exercise bike - 107 minutes
60 minutes upper body weights - 45 minutes upper body
75,000 steps - goal met, 81,559 steps
700 hula hoops - 300 hula hoops
6 sessions PT exercises (outside PT) - 3 sessions


12/8: 35 minutes bike, 15 minutes upper body exercises, 12,639 steps
12/9: 11,734 steps
12/10: 25 minutes bike, 15 minutes upper body, PT exercise session, 300 hula hoops, 14,502 steps
12/11: 27 minues bike, 15 minutes upper body, PT exercise session, 14,830 steps
12/12: 20 minutes bike (really light workout; I was sore), PT exercise session, 16,791 steps
12/13: today will be a rest day, 3366 steps
12/14: 7697 steps

This week's goals:
120 minutes exercise bike - 122 minutes goal met
60 minutes upper body weights - 60 minutes goal met
75,000 steps - 83,241 steps goal met
700 hula hoops - did zero
6 sessions PT exercises (outside PT)
- did 2

12/15: 20 minutes bike, 13,141 steps
12/16: 20 minutes HIIT bike, 15 minutes upper body weights, PT exercises, 12,239 steps
12/17: 20 minutes HIIT bike, 15 minutes upper body weights, PT exercises, 12,301 steps
12/18: 14,228 steps
12/19: 22 minutes HIIT bike, 15 minutes upper body weights, 15,554 steps
12/20: 40 minutes HIIT bike, 15 minutes upper body weights, 7432 steps
12/21: 8346 steps

This weeks goals:
120 minutes exercise bike - did 94 minutes
60 minutes upper body weights - did 45
6 PT exercise sessions - did none!!
60,000 steps - did 57,495 steps


12/22: 10,737 steps
12/23: 24 minutes HIIT bike, 15 minutes upper body, 11,177 steps
12/24: 25 minutes HIIT bike, 15 minutes upper body, 6389 steps
12/25: 11,726 steps
12/26: 45 minutes HIIT bike, 15 minutes upper body, 11,677 steps
12/27: 1434 steps
12/28: 4356 steps

This weeks goals:
120 minutes HIIT bike
60 minutes upper body weights

I was very far from meeting my goal last month which might account for the 2 lb weight gain. Going skiing at the end of the month so that should help with reaching goal this month.

Goal 1450 minutes

Last month was awful. I did get some exercise with DD and the babe but once things heated up with our election I had no time. This month I have 26 days to exercise and redevelop those habits and I plan to make the most of it!

Goal: 90/1200 minutes, planned exercise 80% of the days after the election.

My Goal is a minimum of 690 minutes for the month (ball parking 30 min 5X per week)
1 16 min bikes at PT 10 min strength
2 nada
317 min bikes 10 min strength
