Default If you're craving a crunchy treat

Last night I was watching a little TV and was craving a crunchy treat, like popcorn, chips, peanut M&Ms, etc. TV time is the time where I can mindlessly put away a bag of something "bad" without even thinking about it or realizing what I'm doing until it's all gone.

So last night, I decided to see what healthy alternatives I had, and I pulled out a bag of fresh from the garden raw green beans. They tasted so good, and satisfied my crunch-craving. And of course they were much better for me than greasy fatty potato chips!

The only thing crunchy in my garden is last years leaves! (I'm lazy )

I have been craving something crunchy, though. I keep thinking about chips, croutons, pizza crust! Even Lola's kibbles are starting to look attractive

I'll try the green bean trick, thanks

Hey,
Can we eat dill pickles? I've been wanting crunchy too, and I CRAVE dill pickles!!!! I would think they'd be okay, they're just cucumbers and vinegar-but usually when I think something is "okay" somebody with more brains straightens me out!!! I only eat them with a lot of salt usually, but maybe I could refrain!!!!!!! Thanks.........

HI KIM!!! They are high sodium, so you have to watch that, but other than that I think they are fine. I've been eating them, but trying to be "reasonable." I LOVE pickles and could easily polish off a LOT of them!!!
When I was a kid I would go to the local Deli with my Mom, a friend and the friend's Mom. My friend and I would run into the restaurant first and pick the table with the most pickles on it and eat ALL of them!!! Wonder if THAT'S why Delis don't put unlimited pickles out any more?!?

Oh my gosh, I love them. I used to drink the pickle juice out of the jar when all the pickles were gone!!!!
All 3 of my kids love them too. We can eat a whole jar together when we get started.
