New to this site and new to "The Beach"
 
Hi everyone,

I am here to basically start a journey to take my life back. I am currently 37 years old and I am at my highest weight ever. I don't feel healthy, I don't look good, I hate shopping for clothes, and I just want the old me back. I'm hoping the south beach plan can help me with that.

B: breakfast casserole (eggs, broccoli, LF cheese)
S: cheese stick, snap peas, few unsalted cashews
L: salad w/ LF turkey & ham lunch meats, lt ranch dressing, lt shredded cheese
S: vanilla ricotta creme (craving something sweet)
D: Boston market turkey, (no gravy), steamed veggies, green beans
D: sugar free jello

Day 2, Phase 1... Hangin' in!!
 
Good morning all!

Thanks for all the friendly welcomes to the group :D I'm looking forward to continuing my journey on south beach. I'm on day 2, going strong...

Last night my fiance and I went to dinner at Boston market. I had turkey (no gravy) with steamed veggies and green beans. The turkey was so dry and gross with no gravy so I put some ranch dressing w/ 1 gm of sugar on the side to dip it in. I only ate a few pieces of it and just finished the veggies. I just didnt have the time to prepare any dinner.

B: breakfast casserole
S: cheese stick, snap peas
L: salad from salad bar (w/ SB friendly ingredients)
S: turkey roll-ups (LF turkey, cilantro, some mayo), 15 assorted unsalted nuts
**Tried to make SB "eggplant pram" recipe (didnt like it AT ALL)**
D: Morningstar grillers soy burger, 1 laughing cow
D: SF jello

I turn 37 this year and I too am at my highest ever! I am on Day 5 of Phase 1 and have done this plan before. Just wish I stuck to it!!!
