Default Added sugar

Hi guys,

I am on my second day on phase one. I just realised there is a small amount of added sugar in the canned beans and yoghurt I have brought. Is this ok? Those two things are the only things I have that contain any sugar.

Do you think that I can just eat those and not be to worried? I have about 7kgs to lose and am doing this with my Mum who has about 20kg (at least) to lose.

Thanks

Is sugar listed as an ingredient? Yogurt contains sugars naturally from the milk. Phase 1's point is to steer you clear of and rid you of the added sugars - natural sugars are ok (such as in tomatoes and milk).

I'd not eat either if sugar is one of the main (so one of the first 3 or so) ingredients listed. It might trigger cravings.

Thank you for the reply Jenne. No it was listed, I didn't realise until after buying them, I know that's the point so thought i'd better check if I just eat something once or twice a week with added sugar would be ok but I guess not thinking about it! Thanks again :-)
