Wakey Wakey everybody! Our favorite day of the week has finally arrived!

And for me, that means one more week until a lovely two week vacation! It's dark and pouring rain right now, but at least it's cooled things off considerably.
I have to work at least until noon today, then home to clean the house and do laundry so I'll be free to play the rest of the weekend.

Good morning from much cooler Delta. I actually slept with a blanket on the bed last night! Maybe that's why I slept until six. Glorious sunshine on the back deck for my coffeetime!

I plan to do about an hour of weeding this morning and then go to the Fair Office for a while. The computers have been offline since the power went off on Tuesday and I need to call tech support and then sit and wait for them to call me back with a fix. I think I'll take some sewing to work on while I wait.

Not sure what else is on the plate today - it's getting too scarey to make lists! I do need to spend some time on food prep - never did get to making that bean salad and I have beets to try to make into chips.

In the meantime, breakfast and then into garden duds to tackle the weed forest and maybe spread some straw. (My young neighbour Greg carried all the bales to the back garden for me yesterday so I have no further excuses.)

My mommy is here with her foster son....so just a fly by. LOL....planning out food already. Hmmm...no wonder I have poor eating habits, eh? Actually, we're planning out healthy yummy things!!

Half day of work, then a few days off.

Good morning, to our Colordo chicks, I am so sorry to hear about the horrific shooting. So very sad. Please chicks be aware of your surroundings at all times. We had an incident a few years ago where a teen was bludgeoned in Walmart. I don't know why people do the things they do. OK I am off my soap box

Linda I am with you my vacation begins on the 28th and not a moment too soon either. Time to start making to my to do lists. Feeling very drained lately and my diet has been poor most of the week. Being lazy with my food choices and exercise. Last night I was in bed and asleep before 8:30 which is unheard of for me. Today I will be better!

Enjoy this cool morning, sooooo nice slept without the AC last night.

My heart goes out to all the victims of that tragic incident in Colorado and they will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Was sorry to hear about the shootings in CO, DH was going to take Dd2 to see that movie today but not now.

DD2 made it to finals last night so Saturday we will be at Conference she is excited.

It is cooler and overcast this morning. Kitchen cleaning was delayed until today. I am working on my first cup of coffee and then I'll get busy on the kitchen. I am having a hard time getting back on plan. It is time to get serious!

We're certainly in shock here this morning. Very sad. A theatre in a mall where I always shop when I take mom to her monthly eye appt.

We have lots to do here and are trying to put one foot in front of the other to stay on task.
