Product question

  • Hi folks,

I've been dying for my favorite chips. Like literally salivating. I haven't bought them but I did find these. Do you think they are ok for Ph2 in actual serving sizes (3 pretzels):

    Sprouted "Splits"

What is "Sprouted" you ask? Well, these Splits are made with a wheat flour that digests like a vegetable... because the wheat was "Sprouted" or germinated. Amazingly, when whole grains are sprouted, they are converted into a living food with more vital nutrients. The nutrients are now in a form that the body can more easily absorb. Think of a sprouted whole grain as a plant. Plants digest in the body as vegetables and are some of the easiest foods to digest.

Our organic Sprouted whole grain flour is made by Essential Eating and tastes absolutely wonderful as it has not been bleached, refined or overly processed. We also use an organic extra virgin olive oil.

  • If you can stick to the serving size they look okay.
  • These remind me of a sprouted bread that I buy, I agree stay to serving size.
  • I did. They were YUMMY. 3 pretzels with my dinner. DELISH! Satiated my craving. Not something I'd binge on.
  • I'm curious how many calories are in a serving. I couldn't find it for the life of me on the site. I miss pretzels. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to eat them with moderation
  • There is a company that makes whole wheat pretzels and they carried them at Ocean State for awhile. They were good and I was able to exercise portion control for quite awhile. Then, all of a sudden, I couldn't. Stupid brain. No more pretzels in the house for me.
  • Yup, until I can't control...eating them WITH my meal helped.
