Default Crazy Fruit reintroduction question! Help!

So, today is my first day of phase 2. My plan was to add a fruit to lunch and 1 serving of grains to dinner.

I just tried to eat a clementine with my lunch (tuna, green beans and 1/2 cup of blackeyed peas). I couldn't finish it. It literally almost made me sick. It was just TOO sweet.

Is this common when reintroducing fruit? I used to love it, but now the thought of it is making me want to hurl.

Could my tastes have really changed that much in 2 weeks?

Congrats!

Yes, it's common. Apples are sooooo good to me now but super sweet.

I had an apple today for my fruit... that was more tolerable than the clementine yesterday.

I had the ultimate challenge today. A business meeting/luncheon. They served Baked Ziti, Garlic Bread and Pizza! I could have died!!!

I sat through the whole meeting drinking water. Then hightailed it to my car and ate turkey slices, cheesestick, an apple and a few cucumber slices on the drive home.

This is getting easier day by day. It's amazing how after the 2 week "detox" your body actually craves REAL food.

I am happily munching away on red and orange bell pepper strips with LF Ranch dressing and a serving of nuts. I can't think of anything I would rather have (including the huge MUFFINS that are for sale downstairs)

Congrats! I felt the same way- couldn't have many fruits. They felt waaaay to sweet! I do enjoy apples and pears a lot more now Also, I find the same thing with chocolate- milk chocolate tastes horrible to me! And this is coming from a sweets fan! However, I do enjoy 70% dark chocolate now
