I let Thanksgiving kick my butt

  • I went totally off plan from Thursday until today. I was also off plan the week before T'giving because I had to eat a low residue diet for the procedure I was getting. The plan was to go right back on plan but that didn't happen. I'm not beating myself up over it.

I'm going to do ph 1 for a week and get back to normal and try to not go off plan too terribly around Christmas. Then after new years, I'm going to probably do a 2 week Ph1 just because I want to get really focused again and get rid of any cravings I might have again. So that's my plan.

Today I bought myself a gift. I got the EA Sports Active 2 for PS3. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...01_i00_details
I cant wait to get it.
  • You are not alone! I've been back on (almost) PH1 since Sunday and feel so much better already. I'd love to be someone who views holidays like any other day as far as eating healthy
  • Same boat here! However, I weighed myself this morning and surprisingly, no weight gain. No clue how that happened or maybe the few days of eating bad hasn't caught up with me? I don't know, not questioning it but I'm not ready to throw away the hard work I did before!
  • Thanksgiving can kick all of our butts, just make sure you hop right back on the train and don't give up!
  • hypno - just an FYI, you can do Low residue and it be SBD approved. All your veggies need to be cooked. You can eat eggs, cottage cheese, plain yogurt, broths and canned fruit. It's boring, yes, but can be done without the white rice/bread and potatoes. Just for next time (I am an EXPERT on this, lol).
  • Jenne, yeah I knew that about low residue but my doctor didn't want me on any veggies or fruit, cooked or or not. I guess I shouldn't have called it low residue even though that's what he called it. I could only eat meat, potatoes, rice & bread & all white. I took advantage of it and made chicken & dumplings. Mmm that was delish!
I'm back to SB now so it's all good.
