Question about Mayo

  • Which mayo should I be using??? I have mayo with canola oil. I see light mayo but the mayo with canola or olive oil are very low in fat, ok to use??
  • from the Phase 1 food list:
    Mayonnaise - Regular - 1 TBS
    Mayonnaise - Low Fat - 2 TBS (avoid varieties made with high fructose corn syrup)

    I know some Chicks prefer olive oil mayo but it's not required. I actually use vegan "mayo" because I k like it better and it has no sweetener in it.
  • Jerseygiiirl! I am so glad you asked this question. I just assumed it had to be the low fat version and i just stopped using it. I had gotten a jar to try the LF and thought it was horrible! Id rather have a 1/2 tsp of regular than 2 tablespoons of the low fat. Im boiling eggs for indian devilled egg masala for breakfast with a little bit of real mayo! Thanks!
