South Beach Rocks ! :)

  • Good morning everyone! I am soo excited and just wanted to share with you - after months on Atkins and sticking to it completely and not losing anything (again, not knocking it -it does work for others), I lost 5 pounds and an inch from waist and an inch from chest on SB after a little over 1.5 weeks!!! I started on P1 but switched up to P1.5 because I was eating so clean and no cravings for months.

    I feel like I wasted so much time trying the other but I'm so happy I found SB! I like to post this so if there are others who have the same issues they can try other things. FOr example, I think my body just needed different nutritents to function. I have gone from under 25 g of carb to just about 100 g a day (I know we dont count carbs) but obviously my body needed this. I have soooo much more energy now and feel fabulous. This in turn helps me really put my all into work out etc. I've been having tons of veggies and not worrying anymore about carb counts, beans, 1/2 cup of Quinoa, almond milk - this is stuff that is all good for you!! Wow, my body is VERY happy and so am I. I just had to listen to it
  • Great news! I totally agree! I have been tracking carbs on SBD and was able to lose weight keeping them to 100grams/day or a bit less. I feel I am also eating a more diverse diet. I agree that 100grams may well be way too many carbs for some to lose weight. It's very individual. I love SBD because I thinks it's the healthiest and most well rounded way of eating for life.
