Talking Brown Sugar substitute?

Hey guys, is there a substitute for brown sugar? I know splenda has a brown sugar/splenda blend, but I was hoping to stay away from sugar as long as possible and don't want to use that product. Any suggestions you have will be great!

You could mix Splenda with some artificial maple flavouring. I find that gives about the same flavour.

NP! I remember being gutted when Splenda came out with their brown sugar, just to find it was regular brown sugar cut with Splenda.

I know! Im too much of a sugarholic to be allowed near that stuff. One taste and i'd probably be binging on cookies and that's definitely not what I want to do. Love the avatar, pride and prejudice is one of my favorite movies/books

I'm the same way, but with most carbs (sweets, chips, pasta, bread, etc) so I've realized it's way better to avoid them than to backslide like mad.
