Default 1st Day for SB & Small Triumph

I officially started today. My triumph is that I didn't grab a brownie from the pan this afternoon. My dd made brownies this morning and I avoided them easily--but later, after I discovered my 5yo had spread blue paint all over the patio and I dealt with that situation, I was in stress mode and instinctively went for the brownies. But I didn't eat one. I had a healthy snack instead.
So, there's something I can feel good about!

I always find that the rush I get later from avoiding those foods is almost as good as the eating it!!!!

For me, the feeling of triumph and achievement is way better than the enjoyment I would have gotten from eating it - not only do things simply not taste as good as you think they will, but there's no feeling bad about it later. Great job, Offevue!

Good for you! One of the bloggers I follow once said something that really hit me - she said she never regrets something she doesn't eat. Hmmm.
