Another Newbie

  • Hi people

Right I've been on a food replacing diet for 4 weeks and lost 2 stone, I want to start this diet this weekend is that a good idea and will it still work?

I only want to lose another stone and a half, got my books and just wanting more advice, hope to hear from someone soon.
  • Welcome to the Beach!!

Is food replacing like a liquid diet?

If you've been seeing such a steady weight loss, Phase I might not take off much, but it's a wonderful healthy way to slowly and steadily lose.
  • Welcome!

Since you have the book and are reading it you are aware that P1 is two weeks. It's really recommended that you follow those two weeks totally clean-no off plan eating. The reason is that this is the detox phase where the cravings for processed foods and sugar disappear.

If you're thinking of starting this weekend, look at your calendar for the next two weeks and see if it's good timing. Since you've been following a pretty strict plan it should be pretty easy.

    Best wishes!
  • out of curiosity..how many pounds is 2 stone???? im not familiar with stone as a measurement? is it european? measurement units? Sorry to ask such a dumb question but in Canada we dont learn these things..at least not at the school i attended :P

  • Welcome to the forum! Great idea reading the book before you start. I found it extremely interesting and loved how much sense it made.

Port, I believe a stone is 14 pounds and is used in the U.K.
